What did uh what did you like about how the team played tonight um I just liked uh the aggressiveness uh liked the connection um we had 35 assists and guys um really did a good job of sharing the ball and um creating good scoring opportunities for each other and I thought the defense

Was pretty good for the most part um so another another good road win three straight uh game holding opponents to fewer than 100 points what’s clicking on the def on the floor right now well wigs is playing great he put a lot of pressure on the ball again tonight which

Is important for us and I I like the Draymond Trace combination you know having um Trace as a shot blocker he had three of them tonight with Draymond um you know kind of playing middle linebacker back there um that’s a good combination so um it’s uh it’s a it’s a

Different look for us U but it’s um it’s been effective clay was a late scratch with right KN S I believe similar thing as to Jonathan and I guess when did it come up is it a long-term concern he said he felt it a little bit in the

Orlando game and uh he thought he was going to be fine and and but during warm-ups um pregame he it it uh kind of stiffened up on him and um Rick worked with him on the uh on the table before the game and um decided not a good idea

For him to play Santa TVD for Santa yeah yeah we’ll see going back to the uh the combination of trace and Draymond I mean obviously you touched on how good the quality of your offense was tonight but what did you think of the shots you guys

Got when those two were out there paired together uh yeah we got some good shots I mean Chris was great um you know nine assists um playing uh Chris with Trace is always a good thing you know that with that lob um threat that that Trace provides and you know Chris you’re

Running pick and roll um and then you know Draymond um he’s used to being a fourman in this league um he’s obviously shot the ball really well this year but he’s so smart uh in terms of creating um shots even if there’s not as much space um you know just dribble handoffs and

With his screening and uh keeping the ball um you know off a off a fake dho all that stuff draymond’s really clever so we can you know we can make up for some of the lack of spacing um you know if he’s at the four with trace of the

Five coach how did you think um Steph played and also that Draymond and Williams interaction what’ you see there and what did you uh yeah I mean Steph um this is what Steph does every every night so nothing jumped out um even though he made several you know

Spectacular plays both passes and shots but this is what he does night after night um the Draymond Grant Williams thing was nothing they just got tangled up and um you know if if it wasn’t Draymond you wouldn’t even be asking me that so um not a big deal do you uh look

At the road winds you’ve had this year that’s something that that’s something that plays in April and May yeah I mean we we we’ve been better on the road than at home it’s bizarre um a year ago it was the complete opposite you know we

Were 33 and8 at home and um 0 and 41 on the road or or or so um so who knows I mean it’s it’s hard to to um explain these things but uh we the main thing is we’re playing well right now you know we’re um we’re in a pretty good Groove

Wigs this is the best wigs has been all year Trace is coming into his own um Gary Peyton looks fantastic so um you know we’re coming coming along well um and obviously we’re in a in a fight with um with a lot of teams so the West is

Just loaded this year and um you know a year ago I think we probably had a similar record I think we ended up 43 and 39 we were the six seat you know this year we could end up with a better record and be the 10th seed so

Um the the league is is just loaded the West in particular is just loaded Steve two seasons ago when you guys won the championship I believe you have four players making at least two threes per game uh last season you had five guys making two threes per game uh

This year I believe it’s just Stephen Clay doing that do you feel like the roster is just kind of lacking three-point shooting right now no I wouldn’t say that I think um I I I believe in in wig and and Moses as three-point Shooters um you know neither

One um has shoted particularly well this year but I there you saw tonight Moses was four out of five you know wigs is shooting better overall uh recently so um you I think I think we have guys who can make shots and and it’s starting to um starting to look that

Way thank you guys it’s uh it’s the third straight game you guys have held the opponent to under 100 points what is clicking on the defensive EV um I think just our shell um everyone’s engaged I feel like uh to start out the game um our engagement on the floor talking and

Then that carries over for the rest of the game so we have a good start on the defensive end I feel like that just continues for us what about theing between you and Draymond um yeah he’s helped me a lot on the defensive end of the floor um in

Screens um where to go in the offense and stuff of that nature and so being able to be beside him take the load off of him a little bit um feel like we interchanged pretty well yeah me and CP talked about it afterwards he was like thought I threw

It too high but um I got the sneaky bunny so went up and got it um but I think it was a perfect pass so what do you feel like just big picture of me the way you got shared the ball what click offensively tonight um I feel like just

Playing getting the right shot getting the open shot um I feel like they ice everything so getting guys downhill like Wigs Wigs was huge for us again tonight um CP leading it too and then just sharing the ball and ball movement what dynamic has Moses presented these last

Couple games with what he’s been able to do um he’s he’s huge for us um I remember watching film this morning we talked about just his impact in the game and being in and out of the rotation but every time he comes into the rotation uh he brings energy and he’s always ready

To play and that’s huge for us um he might only be 21 but he plays like a season bet so obviously the West is stacked like how often are you guys like are you specifically just looking at the bottom of the standings like seeing who’s winning and who’s losing

Um at the end of the day we just got to continue just to stay on Pace with what we’re doing and um obviously yeah you want to see where everyone’s at but at the same time we got to take it one game at a time and so I think Spurs are next

On the schedule so we got to prepare for them I know it’s mfield in the west but when you look around the lock you see the guys that you’re playing with you go just get us in yourself no absolutely that’s what coach coach keeps praising

To us and preaching he says all we got to do is get in and um he has faith in all of our guys and we have a lot of experience in that and so I’m just trying to get in is that’s what we’re trying to do what’s been the main

Message someone bets about that mindset coming from coach C like what have they said to you um it’s just playing every game and taking a one game out a time um the vets do a great job in connecting the young guys um especially Draymond and JK they have a really good

Connection I feel like me and CP have a really good connection and clay and um we just got to continue to do that next excited for the match up with oh absolutely he’s a great player um he’s he’s a freak of nature and so um

It’s going to be a fun game reite that poster we’ll see three straight games holding the phonus to what do you like about the way you guys are defending right now um we talking a little bit more uh starting to get in the right spots but um I think we sh what we’re

Capable of uh if we defend know St for for quite some time obviously your first season playing with them is there anything about the way that he just goes about his game or something that you didn’t know about him that surprises you how he just handles business and and the responsibility what

She takes like with this team when it comes to he um no now I’m I’m too deep in the game and then played against him and watch and all that stuff so honestly not not really yeah I I know he knows the work that goes in day in

And day out you know I see it CP been watching for as long as I can remember and seems like you always coming off the screen sometimes you have that thing where you twist the ball and then you get it back to you and had the trace Jackson alley up this time what

Are you seeing and what does that move kind of enable and give you on court uh I started doing that back in New Orleans a while ago and all it is is I mean sort of being undersized obviously my whole career is trying to get the spots and because

Every time you see a guy come off a pick and roll they throw a pocket pass yeah right and so all I’m trying to do is make the defender react right he he not sure if I’m passing it or not so if he drops his hand down there now he’s off

Balance he can’t contest my shot it’s just I don’t know I started doing it when they tried to switch the balls the basketballs back in 2007 they had switched the basketballs for a little while during the summer and it was funny cuz the league tried to say it was the

Same leather but it obviously wasn’t um and I used to be able to throw the ball out a lot further and it would like Spin and come back to me yeah and so when they switch back to the regular basketball you just do the same thing just don’t throw it out as

Far the preparing front court with trace and then Draymond you guys are able to get great shots with that look maybe without you know spacing you guys are custom what’s the key to getting great offense um when those two guys are in your front Court um just ball movement

And setting screens and Dre is another guard you know what I mean he’s a big guard but uh I think we just know how to play know how to move we didn’t necessarily make shots tonight but I think we got a lot of Great Looks how does this experience like playing with

Steph clay and Dre compared to the other stars that you played with your career like a James Harden or guy that that um it’s more of them you know what I mean seriously like I didn’t had a chance to play with jh play with book played with

Uh KD last year uh obviously um D West when I started my career and uh Blake and DJ and all that and JJ but um these guys they’ve been together so long I hav played against them so long they just know where you going to be in this um

This ball movement his screens it’s you know real smart cerebral plan and I’ve never played with a guy like Draymond too that could pass like me you know what I mean seriously so um it’s fun and I enjoy when we get a chance to play together what’s Moses been getting you

Guys the last couple games seems like he’s always ready no matter what Moses is just a pro man you know what I mean Moses is one of those guys that you know we have guys that go hoop days in between games games or the morning of

The game they might go hoop and stuff cuz mo may not be in the rotation so he’ll he’ll hoop in the morning thinking that he might not be part of the rotation and then game time will come and Coach will be like you starting you

Know and he just stay ready he just stay ready and you got to appreciate somebody like Mo because a lot of guys would be pouting and man I ain’t ready I played this morning or whatnot but he just he just stay ready and uh he uh one of my

Favorite teammates my whole career Chris is there a restaurant or fast food place you stopped back in when you’re in North Carolina uh my grandma house yeah yeah Steph coming back to Charlotte even after all these years does it still mean something to you oh absolutely um obviously a lot of

Familiar faces in the arena got some family here uh at to hang out with pops and Seth it’s uh it’s always fun to kind of relive the childhood a little bit and you know kind of go through all the memories and the the sights and

Sounds that I’m used to and I know at some point I’ll come back here not as a player so I got to cherish every uh every opportunity we get each year Steph what do you have to say about your road defense as a team and and you individually I mean you were incredible

Tonight all over the place getting deflections you got the steal but you were kind of setting the tone with your energy on that side of the floor but defensively holding a team under 100 again it’s it’s it’s the the recipe to win on the road we we know that and if

We can you know defend at a high level uh even as slow as the first quarter was offensively you know you know eventually you’ll get to be able to break the game open with uh our shooting and our attack and you know our movement offense so but

Defensively we have to be able to set the tone early on the road and you know make teams feel us we did that in Orlando uh we did that Miami we did it in Minnesota too even though we couldn’t get to the Finish Line obviously did it

Tonight what do you think about being 13 and3 in your last 16 Road games after last year with the weird 11 Road wins 13 and three on the road what a stretch we might need to like stay in a hotel in San Francisco and and act like it’s a road

Game like they do in football stay in the hotel the night before I don’t know what it is about uh you know the Road Warriors we we’ve kept our season alive you know with our road performance so it means it means a lot and we’re going to

Have uh what it’s looking like we’re going to have to do that to get into the playoffs so uh something to to rely on and Steph it’s been kind of like a a season long process getting Wiggins Super Active keeping him aggressive keeping him assertive with the ball

Screens you’re setting them and now you got all the wings seemingly playing well with Moses Moody playing well hopefully kaminga comes back from that uh tendon nidus playing well but what’s it been like for you figuring out how to get your guys going obviously we know you

Can get yours but I mean obviously the more guys that are firing all cylinders especially the wings the better for you yeah it the way teams guard us you know they’re try going to try to press up on me and Clay take away some of our pet actions

But with those driving Lanes their aggressiveness their uh athleticism like you said their ability to you know fill it up from all over the floor it it all just is about like a mindset that they’re going to be assertive and you know will their way into nights like they’ve had uh like

Wigs has had in Orlando like I said after the game he won us that game by the way he was attacking especially in that fourth quarter and tonight you know the same JK’s been doing it for uh for a good stretch of the year so we need them

To do what they do um be aggressive and and allow the space uh you know to put them in positions to be successful I thought you were going to knock some chairs over again after you won tonight uh I got that aggression out in Orlando uh this is a little easier night

So our spies told us uh there was you know you won the Celebrity Golf Championship and you beat your dad and your brother but there’s a little nine holes yesterday who won between Dell and Wardell uh well Wardell senior and Wardell II were a team against young

Seth Curry who’s he he’s on the golf power rankings in the family he’s he’s climbing the ladder pretty quick he took the money home yesterday so he took the money home we’ll see I will’ll let him have it while I’m in season Curry’s golf defeat Spurs his his win over Charlotte

The next night Steph we appreciate you stop it man great game that three right before the half it meant a lot more than just three points it seemed to kind of light the fuse for the second half yes sir nice to win here it’s been a minute

So uh on to the next well I’ll leave you with this one you guys had lost five straight in Orlando got a win you had lost four straight here in Charlotte got a win ooh that streak Busters I I I I knew I didn’t know the exact numbers but
