Ignoring the clickbait tile, always screaming and the fact that he couldn’t get his name right in the title, he has a point.
But doing analysis like this is kind of disingenuous. He’s ignoring all the plays that worked well, and the fact that Giannis scored 20 (!) points in the row in the 3Q for the Bucks, so clearly something was working and Giannis hasn’t been ruined under Doc Rivers.
Honestly, we go back to the thing with Adrian Griffin. Was the offense scoring more points? Yeah. But if you think about it, when you run less on defense, well your legs are also fresher on offense. Most of these mistakes are also due to the fact that Giannis isn’t a good roller, and we’ve known that for the longest time. He never had a true star PG to do that with, so it’s normal he’s not Embiid when rolling.
I do however agree that there are stuff that needs to be figured out. There’s no way you have someone with a 20 point quarter in the 3Q and then his first shot attempt is with like 30s left on the 4Q with the game already doomed, that has to be figured out.
I guess, like we’ve seen, at the end of the day, this comes back to how good and consistent Dame and Khris can be. If they don’t make shots, we’ll be seeing a situation like we’ve seen time and time again where a team will build a wall and Giannis will suffer, if not, Giannis will have a lot more room. So I guess we have to pray Doc stops playing that stupid Giannis + bench lineup, and pray that the 8-9 man rotation in the playoffs plays to our favor.

I thought it was incredibly obnoxious and couldn’t watch past 15 seconds.
Also, he can’t even spell Antetokounmpo correctly, so that shows me the level of detail and insight I should expect lol.
I don’t like to judge… but this guy is how I think half these basement dwelling doomers look like when they’re commenting in game threads. You just know they never played organized basketball ever, or at best past freshman high school teams, and would likely have trouble knocking out a 15 minute mile.
