OKC should hand out KD wigs every time he comes into town.
Next-Firefighter-753
that was honestly pretty tame compared to earlier years
TriCourseMeal
As they should

wouldnt run this deep if blud didnt choose the warriors. Even though that was his best legacy decision
just_jess4321
Raptors fans did this to Vince Carter right up to his retirement. He deserved it more though…. It’s not that KD left it’s where he went
Section_80
Am I the only one that sees nothing wrong with this?
He didn’t win them anything, and he left to go to a rival.
_AnythingIsPossible
KD is 35 years old and doesn’t have a real NBA home
Sad
JJVM99
When he retires will there be any team that will remember KD’s time with them fondly? Will any team he played for retire his jersey? I am asking this considering how his career has gone currently.
Cool_Recognition_848
Maybe by the end of his career they’ll stop booing him if he goes on a mini redemption tour like Vince Carter. On the other hand, I’m a Raps fan and I would boo VC today, so it doesn’t always work out.
desmond_the_constant
I was at the game. They booed every time the ball was in his hands. For the entire game.
Capable-TurnoverPuff
It’s funny. Who cares.

He’s a snake, fuck him

Love the commitment! One of the things I miss when watching the nba compared to European soccer is the lack of true rivalries

Absolutely fair, KD is a complete looser
chillpickle420
KD starter kit – patches of hair, phone with twitter arguments open, lit joint

There is an absolutely nothing wrong with this. He did OKC dirty as fuck with how he left. Set the organization back a few years from the trajectory they were on because he wanted to sabotage the competition while going to Golden State.
He should be booed every single time he plays against OKC until he publicly apologizes and says he was wrong with how he handled it. He should have asked for a trade if he wanted to leave, like he did with other teams.
simonffplayer
if KD had stayed at OKC, i’d be very surprised if they didn’t win at least 1 or 2 titles. his legacy would be about 10x better, and he’d be considered one of the top 20-25 nba players of all time. at his peak, he was the best player in the nba (including steph and lebron), but he doesn’t get the credit for it cause he took the easiest road
MUNZACORE
He deserves every bit of it
AnOddlyShapedPotato
He left 8 years ago??? Holly fuck I’m getting old.
WheedMBoise
This is what KD’s legacy is gonna be, that was a generationally weak move. To this day, it’s the first thing I think about regarding him.
bluprint2wo
They aren’t wrong for that though.
HotSwordfish23
2016 being 8 years ago made me feel sad
Acrobatic-Year-126
His entire legacy will be defined by the bitch move he made
MrTurdhat
I prefer when they chanted cupcake at him.
ejroberts42
They should boo him. He left a contender to get a couple easy rings

A collective 🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍🐍 by the audience would have been good

Only 8 years? Seems like a million. My Dad was still alive and a big OKC fan during the Durant years. We would watch OKC when I would visit. KD on his third team since.
gd2121
I don’t really understand the long term grudge holding. Like I live in Denver and people still hate Melo. Like who cares it was a decade ago lol.

As they should

PEOPLE DONT FORGET !

Pretty rich of OKC fans considering how they got this team in the first place

Sounds like someone is wanking it the whole clip

I’m getting over it but people in the real life really be questioning me when I say KD isn’t a top 5 Thunder. I just show them videos like this

I can only hope we’re still booing Kyrie after 8 years
SexyWampa
And an ass whooping. We should start doing the same in Phoenix. I didn’t want him in the first place. We’re a worse team now after that trade.
resipsaloquitor5
I like the passion but I find this level of saltiness to be a bit of a pathetic self-own by the fan base.
ericjr96
OKC actually would’ve been his best shot for sustained success AND individual credibility if he had seen it through. Sure he got his rings on paper, but he’s been wandering the desert since then and the suns don’t look poised for anything
