I still don’t understand why we didn’t challenge either play. We wasted using a coaches challenge and ended up losing because of it.

The Ingles one even mentions that Joe’s contact was illegal. If we’d challenged that they would almost certainly have called a foul on Joe instead.
As Mose said, the challenge uses his timeout and we only had one left, so you do that and we don’t get to draw up a play for the last possession because we’re out of timeouts.
