“They thought they knew us man. They thought they knew we hadn’t in our hearts. I promise you they didn’t, we are fucking winners.” Zach Edey full of emotions after Purdue advances to the Final Four.

Sounds like Janine Teagues (Abbott Elementary) trying out profanity lol

  2. A month ago he was projected as a late 1st to early 2nd round pick. Now I’ve seen those same “draft experts” project him going 12th to OKC or 13th to NOLA.

Got me fired up, hope he can go win the championship

He would be great coming off the bench with Kelly next season

  5. This dude is looking to be the first 2 time Naismith award winner since Ralph Sampson in 1983. Think of all the great players who have played college ball since 1983. Sure, most players are one and done these days, but that is still impressive. A lot of great players played multiple years in college and only won it once.

Yes, he doesn’t shoot threes, but the average center in the NBA attempts 1.2 3s a game. Centers basically hit 1 3 point shot every 3 games. It isn’t as big of a deal as people think. Let’s look at what he does. He scores, a lot. He has a well developed post game, which is more than I can say for a lot of NBA centers, including some of the top guys. He rebounds very well, especially on the offensive end. He passes very well from both the post and the top of the key. He is one of the better passing big men I have seen in a while. He also blocks a lot of shots. He also hits free throws at decent percentage for a center. His basketball IQ is high as well. Purdue runs a lot of its plays through him, forcing him to make the reads off double teams.

He is basically a better passing, better scoring Rudy Gobert. If nothing else, he has the size to guard an Embiid or anyone else down low. Any team that gets him will be instantly better on defense and on the boards. There is also the potential of a dominant low post threat.

He’s going up against the big man from North Carolina State. Damb it’s like a heavyweight fight but the basketball version. Gonna be good!

Are you all so scared a Canadian big man could be the gold standard in the NBA? Just like SGA there are some talented players here.
