I’m just happy Cam didn’t play. Didn’t know Gabe was this good defensively though, great to see. Think he needs to play with bigger line-ups so he can hound the pg and there’s length around him to cover. Vanderbilt coming back will be huge if he’s himself and they get in the playoffs.

As a Heat fan, happy to see Gabe back playing, and being appreciated. He was a lot of fun to root for, especially during the nutso playoffs run last year. The guy always gives it his all and has balls of steel.

What I really liked about his defensive impact was COMMUNICATION. He was going over and under screens, switching when needed and communicated everything with the others, which led to much smoother team defense.
I instantly noticed that once he came into the game. But he won’t be playable in any plaoff scenerio if he doesn’t find some of his offense in the next few weeks.
