This is what I was worried about when he first started missing time because he’s best when in rhythm and getting a good number of minutes. Some guys can just come off the bench for a few minutes and shoot fine but he hasn’t been one of those guys.

Plus if the Cavs want to stagger Mobley/Allen it’s very difficult without Wade because Niang is such a poor rebounder. Morris helps with depth but Wade is also a quality perimeter defender in addition to being solid on the boards.

  2. Damn. His impact is so underrated. He has the highest on-off numbers on the team. He’s the ideal bench 4, good shooter, good defender, good rebounder and extremely low usage.

Without him we have to give more minutes to either niang (who’s a bad defender and rebounder) or okoro (who’s not a good shooter and is under sized).

Morris can play his role with a little better offense and slightly worse D. Morris becomes very important if Dean is out.

To be fair, the regular season is only 7 more games. If he needs to rest for the playoffs so be it. We need to get as healthy as possible.

We’re having Browns level injury luck this season

  6. This is terrible news but Mobley is back and now Morris can help fill Wade role.
