GAME OF THE YEAR 🔥 Angel Reese & Caitlin Clark 1ST HALF HIGHLIGHTS 👏 | ESPN College Basketball

Most important things for Iowa in this game is to be able to secure defensive boards LSU an outstanding offensive rebounding team Clark connects this game Iowa four-point lead as we send things over to Holly Ro be given opportunities to take shots tonight they need her to feel confident

In her mid-range and I think Iowa is okay giving up the mid-range here’s Clark driving in for two s by Iowa we saw this a lot in the sweet 16 game against Colorado Caitlyn Clark turning the corner and finishing an easy one has averaged over 21 points in her

Collegiate career that’s third most amongst active players Clark back door Martin easy two here’s an interesting substitution for LSU as last tier POA comes in it was POA who drew two offensive fouls on Clark in last year’s National Championship Game she has more size and length Clark you bet

They dump it into ogrady spelling stalky back to Clark Clark bounces off Martin fires and hits LSU usually does not travel by way of the three Re surrounded good find Williams can yes she does get the roll huge three there for the Freshman Williams a falter running the other way

Lays it in Clark again with the get ahead pass and Kim muli trying to call a timeout so don’t you go letting Angel down now here is Rees surrounded finds paa her three is good Angel Reese is a very good passer out of the post you’re going

To get better looks if you get her touches Williams can’t finish Rees does angel Reese a prolific offensive rebounder already four rebound rounds two assists for Angel Reese Williams lets it Fly that one’s off Rees left alone lays it in 3:30 to go in the first quarter Clark looking to turn the corner

Lays it in plus the foul in terms of her balance getting threes from the perimeter and then opportunities for threes in the paint for Caitlyn Clark meanwhile LSU after starting two for seven is seven for its last nine from the floor they dump it into Reese Rees bodies inside

Easy finish for Angel Reese and the rebound ends up with LSU here is Reese Clark back there and Reese lays it in Angel Reese having a tremendous opening quarter and now Reese comes up with a steal Reese all the way in to give LSU the lead to the floor defensively jumps

The route gets out able to get an easy two in transition and what I love is she challenges her teammates in a Timeout Clark looking to respond backs away and throws it away Reese on another steal Reese leaves it Williams finishes Angel Reese just getting it done on both ends fueling LSU and

Transition where they Excel Clark gets caught on on the screen an eight-point LSU lead Clark through traffic finds a falter she hits a big one for the Hawkeyes Iowa out of the Zone but also so Iowa can rebound and box out better Clark dumps it edigar gets denied a full fisted rejection from

Angel Reese in a big way on the defensive end we’ve seen a couple of steals and there she helps and then comes over gets the SWAT here’s Reese looking to go to work on stalky Reese flips it up and in she is Unstoppable Angel ree set 63 just great

Patience sees three different Defenders coming at her keeps it simple just goes over her left shoulder finished with the right hand Iowa started 10 for 14 they’re two for 10 since here’s stalky looking to take Reese stalky gets denied by Reese in the back court Martin gets it

Ahead Iowa with numbers here’s Clark Catch Fire and H inside and who’s looking good on the outside no surprise in the corner wide open Williams no and O’Grady the rebound Clark running Clark eyes up behind the back through the lane lays it [Applause] in

Watch these highlights as from the first half of the No. 1 Iowa Hawkeyes vs. the No. 3 LSU Tigers in the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament as Caitlin Clark (15 PTS, 1 REB and 4 AST) and Angel Reese (13 PTS, 7 REB and 3 AST) both go off to keep the game tied at 45-45 at the half.

  1. Their coach let them get beat. That one girl was getting cooked and she did nothing about it. They was getting beat up and down the court all game. No effort. That's what I saw

  2. It’s still a pay back weather they lost players or not they talk the talk but was out played any ways and one sports female announcer said Iowa has nothing for this LSU team but she got to eat her words yes I heard your mouth go off against Iowa but the real Iowa team showed up this game period !! God bless this Iowa ladies basketball team !! Amen !!🙏!!

  3. The pundits talk about how great LSU (Reese) is because of all their offensive rebounds. They had 23 offensive rebounds (Reese 20) tonight. Iowa only had 6 OBs. What they don't say is LSU all the OBs because they are so poor shooting, only 34 of 88 two point attempts (Reese 7 – 21) and 8 – 24 threes. LSA has to be so good on the offensive boards because their shooting is that bad.

  4. Like Angel Reese or not, it’s great to see so many people engaging with womens sports in a passionate way..I don’t care for her antics myself, but any successful sport is built on colorful personalities.

  5. Many Iowa fans have shown their true colors and are lowlife racists. They don't care about basketball. They have made it Black vs. White, and I’m glad Clark doesn't act anything like that. She's better than that and respects the players that paved the way for women's basketball. Her idol is a black player, the great Maya Moore. She's a class act—can’t say the same thing about some of her fans.

  6. It seems to me that cait clarke is the greatest basketball player that has ever played or lived and she is retiring next year and this is the end of the greatness and can believe she is doing that at this age
