If Murray finished with 3-7 FG rather than 2-7 FG, the team would’ve won.
Elephant in the room? Defense wise Banton might be similar but in every other way Banton is way better than Scoot.
Will Scoot be better next year? Needs to work on dribbling and lay ups with his left hand. Preseason suggestions he's a future superstar seems so far away. He can't make layups with his left hand??? Needs to work on so much in the off-season. He's SOFT going to the rim, 3 point shooting. Handle is bad – He's a turnover machine.
Ayton summed it all up after Scoot ended the game by his out of control dribbling right into a triple team and then falling down barely able to get the ball out to Ayton way too late. Ayton said "Duck Scoot" after the buzzer except he used a different word than "Duck!"
I don't know if you have to trade him right now but he looks a couple years a way best case. In the mean time Banton is ready to go right now and doesn't deserve coming in behind Scoot.

X-finity is a joke. Sort of like Portland. If they pick a guard and/or a stiff like Clingon or Edey the fans should boycott.
This team needs SARR or another defensive minded big man so bad it aint funny. Ayton is not the center for this team long term despite playing well*. No fire on defense, little desire to improve, all the physical tools yet stay puff marshmellow man as they come. POR needs to use all their picks in draft on PF's and Centers only. PERIOD. They can go into next year with Camara and Rupert getting most run at SF. They need a complete overhaul of the frontcourt. Front office needs to send out vets in offseason.
Scoot’s ability to find the open man is underrated. He has no shooters around him.
