They may have won, but at least we got the moral victory with the fake comeback on the road!

Well we already outperformed this season. With all the injuries and youth, there’s a lot to be happy with this season. Sucks to have Fred nearly bring us back only to completely collapse, but hey, at least these games are important enough to be disappointed over.

  2. AdmirableRise3758

Man we really back to doing fake comebacks again?

At least it wasnt a blowout tho…

  3. Jacob_G12

Gonna be tough to pass the warriors losing these 2 last games. Was hoping we could pull one off

  4. PkEvolution

Good game. Need to upgrade the bench in the off-season. That was where the battle was lost.

  5. welp… tonight (and all season feels like) pretty much came down to the 3 ball not falling. we could pretty much only afford to lose 2 more games for play-in hopes after OKC and we’re there. 7 wins in a row would be a miracle but i’m happy with the season regardless if we finish over .500. beating the warriors thursday would be a nice consolation prize too

  6. kopite008

We haven’t been competitive for a while and the youngsters really couldn’t handle the pressure of close games, And at the same time the vets showed they can, hopefully thus experience can help our guys become better. As for now let’s go… Mavs

  7. Shootit_Rockets

This whole season is a fake comeback. Jabari played soft as fuck, I have no idea where he was all second half.

Right now we have a higher win percentage than the ‘future of the league’ OKC Thunder last year. The climb is just beginning

  8. basedkumar63

We really need consistent offense that doesnt only appear as a comeback, and some better defense with these bigger teams. Im proud of the progress this team has made, but it’s clear that we still lack focus and good decision making.

On to the next one (go mavs lol)

  9. not_so_bueno

If any of your draft, free agent or trade targets begin with “he’s a great defender but needs to develop a shot”, I will immediately show you the door.

  10. Main-Performer-2607

Other than that Toronto game, the Amen and Cam combo has not been good. Not including tonight they have a -5.5 net rating together, and that’s entirely cause the offensive rating is awful, 103.4.

  11. Well it has been fun. Play ins was always a pipe dream when Sengun went down. Can’t win shit when your team got 3 players shooting 2-11, 4-13, and 2-8 from 3s

  12. antipoopsuperstar

Bad loss. Season hanging on by a shred of a thread.

Brooks has really been bad the last couple of games. Hopefully we finish the season on a high note. Getting Al-P and Tari back will hopefully solidify this team next year.

  13. Fit-Dream-4829

at least it wasn’t a fuking embarrassment like the last game

  14. Revolutionary_Cap154

It was fun while it lasted. See you next season guys.

  15. migsaawesome

Excited for Jalen to gain some muscle! Can he make an Ant Edwards leap next year?

  16. nonetimeaccount

WE WENT TOE TO TOE WITH POTENTIALLY THE 1 SEED IN THE WEST WHILE MISSING 2 MAJOR ROTATION PLAYERS. AIN’T MAD.

GLAD JALEN BOUNCED BACK AFTER THE MAVS SHIT HIM DOWN. BAD 3PT SHOOTING AND OBV THE COSTLY TOs DOWN THE STRETCH BUT OTHERWISE A VERY SOLID RESPONSE. HE’S BEEN PLAYING SMARTER BUT HE NEEDS TO BE EVEN BETTER IN THE CRUCIAL MOMENTS IF HE WANTS TO BE THE GUY.

REALLY NOTHING MORE THAN POOR 3PT SHOOTING THROUGH 3 QUARTERS. MAKE OUR SHOTS AND WE WIN THE GAME.

CAM GOT SOME MORE LEARNING TO DO AS WELL, BUT THE RAW TALENT IS THERE. WHEN HE FIGURES THE GAME OUT THERE WILL BE NOTHING STOPPING HIM FROM 25 A NIGHT.

FOURTH QUARTER FRED IS SOMETHING ELSE.

DEFENSE WAS PRETTY GOOD FOR THE MOST PART. THERE WERE A NUMBER OF TIMES I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED WITH WEAK SIDE CLOSE OUTS AND ROTATIONS. GUYS WERE WORKING HARD.

PLAY IN WOULD BE COOL BUT I AIN’T SWEATING IT. FINISHING AT .500 IS A HUGE WIN AND EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS.

    STAY TIPPIN.

  17. WuziMuzik

Frustrating loss. Gotta keep grinding and improving. Cam is a much needed offensive addition. But they need to integrate him into things better. And unfortunately there isn’t much time to do that right now. They also need to get back to moving the ball more again. No matter who is on the ball these last three games. Guys have been more indecisive, and the ball is sticking more than it was before.

  18. OneWind1784

terrible game by jabari. absolutely terrible. #3 pick overall, totally devoid of any athleticism. totally devoid of any ferociousness near the rim.

im glad the rockets lost to the first two legitimate teams they faced.

NOW YOU SEE HOW IMPORTANT SENGUN IS TO THE ROCKETS.

    as for jalen’s game,

he’s not ready yet. i really wish we could make the play in so we dont have to wait another off season to see if jalen’s leap is her to stay. he was terrible from 3 today yet he kept on forcing it. he really needs a post game and a mid range game. i barely see any floaters with jalen’s game. that needs to be added.

  19. AnyEstablishment5723

Man if this team could shoot even league average we would win games against really good teams.

  20. telesforojuan

    Rockets miss play-in.
    Rockets get #1 pick.
    Nets pick #2 pick.
Luka gets disgruntled after a first round exit.

Rockets trade top 2 picks on a weak draft + former all rookie first team awardee Jae’Sean Tate for Luka.

    Profit.

  21. fashionandfeetz

Wish Jalen could get a whistle like Edwards. Need more from Jabari. Love his skill set but he plays tooo weak. Can we get a legit shooter, preferably 6’6-6’8. Been saying this since we had Harden tho lol.

  22. OneWind1784

    switching defense killed the rockets.

i miss the 90s where teams knew how to fight over picks and defend the pick and roll.

maybe its the new rules today that dont allow defenses to defend pick and roll/switches.

i cant stand that defensive philosophy.

the switching defense wolves took advantage of and gobert basically is the mvp of this game. totally diffused amen’s game.

  23. NutNougat

Rockets lost, Astros choked and now Mavs down to the Warriors. Man.

Aside from that, happy to see the fight from this team till the very end, but just not there yet with execution. Keep on fighting and keep on growing fellas. This team already exceeded my expectations, I would just like them to end the season on a strong note. Go Rockets.

  24. pieman2005

Dillon is making way too much money to have 5 points in 2 games on 14 shots

  25. Is what it is. It was always going to be tough to sneak into that last play in spot. Overall this season has been a success and hopefully they will carry this momentum into next season.

  26. Bewaretheicespiders

Some of you are way too gloomy. 3 possession loss while missing our starting center and best player, against a top 3 team of the league? I like what I saw from Amen, Cam, Jalen and Jabari, in fact I think they vastly outplayed the veterans.

Yes, it sucks we are probably going to miss the play in, but we were never going to win the Finals this year.

  27. baby_yoda_hunta

Sigh.. it is what it is. On to the next one.

  28. Can’t wait Alpi to come back. Dillon will be the odd man out I am afraid. He served well, I like him but we got so much wing depth to keep him around imo.

  29. Aggressive-Zebra-949

This TWolves team is like if you took the Utah Jazz from 5 years ago, upgraded them at every position (except Gobert and Conley), and threw KAT in there for good measure. Crazy how solid they are even when he’s hurt.
