The Golden State Warriors win their fifth straight game as they defeat the Dallas Mavericks, 104-100. Andrew Wiggins led the way for the Warriors with 23 points and 4 rebounds, while Klay Thompson (14 points, 2 3PM) and Stephen Curry (13 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 3PM) added a combined 27 points in the victory. Luka Doncic tallied 30 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists for the Mavericks in the losing effort, his 20th triple-double of the season and 76th of his career. The Warriors improve to 41-34 on the season, while the Mavericks snap a 7-game win streak as they fall to 45-30.
Klay Thompson passed Kyle Korver (2,450) for 6th on the NBA’s All-Time three-point field goals made list.
Luka Doncic has tied James Harden (76) for the 8th most triple-doubles in NBA history.
Luka Doncic passed George McCloud (257, 1995-96) for the most three-point field goals made in a single season in Mavericks franchise history.
Domantas Sabonis (26), Nikola Jokic (23) and Luka Doncic (20) become the first trio in NBA history to record 20+ triple-doubles in the same season.

Mavericks had multiple opportunities to win but they players missed crunch time buckets and the warriors punished them.

my take aways from this game:
– crazy how ppl still dont run steph off the 3
– wiggins palyed great d on luka and was locking him up
– steph smart on loose balls he just spots up behind the 3 in case they get it so he ends up wide open
– luka still complaining about foul call even when he make it instead of getting back on defense
– kidd stil dont realize late in the game if we down buy more than 2 possessions run the offense through kyrie…. luka pace too slow
If wiggins stays consistent like no way gsw can be stop. Klay needs to come back too.
Curry and Klay being carried by their teammates, can't expect their superstar to play for the warriors it's always the young guys winning the game for them😂😂

Mavs fans this is a taste of post season. I blame Coach Kidd. Too much on ball screens and no player or ball movement. Should have put in Greene for energy and speed. Like Kerr put in Payton
Golden State just wanted it more tonight I think. Also shooting 55% from 3 helps. lol. Also Mavs missing Lively, it hurts to see Dwight Powell on the court. Entertaining game overall but not very good showing from the Mavs role players in this game offensively. Shots just weren't hitting

Might be the grittiest performance of the YEAR at home for the Warriors. They need to keep that same intensity if they hope to secure a spot in the play-in and then do something while they're there
