He tried his best is all I can say, I wish Steve the best for whatever he has in his future endeavors but if people blame only Clifford for the problems the hornets have had is wrong
Steve was just stuck in the mindset of coaching 90s and early 2000s ball. He stepped up when he was asked to do a job seemingly no one else wanted and deserves a nice retirement. Not sure if the main office gig is fitting, but we will see!
It’s a good move. I’m not a Clifford hater, but it’s clear we need to start fresh at every level.
