[Sutterer, MD] Would be tight, (Randle) is probably not quite ready for opener but back by Xmas probably

Just saw this respected sports doc on twitter that says when Randle has the surgery he’s probably not back by the opener and instead is back by Christmas. First i’m hearing anyone say this but if true it’s seriously DEVASTATINGGGG

Which means they wouldn’t have waited this long unless he was definitely coming back this year

  2. Oh man, there goes the in season tournament too.

“Off-Season” is vague though. The playoffs start in April and the finals don’t end until mid June. That’s a huge difference, so it probably depends on when exactly he gets the surgery.

Unless he’s coming back within the next week it’s probably best to shut him down and do the surgery.

Yes it sucks, but between the recovery period and the media rumblings about his injury this constant back and forth isn’t doing anyone any favors, it’s giving the fans false hope and I believe all of this is just delaying the inevitable.

  5. If the team re-signs OG and iHart in the off-season, Randle coming back by Christmas isn’t the worst thing in the world

  6. If he does not come back this season just to have surgery now and be out till Xmas, that is a fucking disaster.

That is equivalent to betting it all on black in roulette and the ball lands on 00

I’m over the guessing game. Can they just give us the news already on OG and Randle.

I don’t see him coming back this year as he doesn’t even sound close. Without him it will most likely be one and out in playoffs.

At a certain point we have to look at Brunsons window.

He needs to be surrounded with *available* top shelf talent for 5 years..starting now. If there was a chance Randle would be able to say *”I’m not sure if I’m ready to absorb contact, even for the playoffs”*, than we shoulda made him have the surgery 2 fucking months ago…and moved on with our lives

yea this is the 1st i’ve heard this. i don’t think they would delay him getting surgery just for a chance at a postseason run if the result was him being out until Xmas. nobody expects him to be near 100% or for us to really have a chance at a title without everyone 100%. doesn’t make sense.

Yup. Joints are quite complex. I hope Randle doesn’t have to get surgery for his own sake man.
