[Slater] Jonathan Kuminga has been downgraded to out in Houston tonight. It’ll be a fifth straight missed game. Kuminga got a hard workout in Tuesday and team did anticipate a likely return tonight. But he will be out again with bilateral knee tendonitis.

This is really concerning at this point. Ideally he would be able to return if it was standard knee tendinitis, based on how long other players have usually been out with it(usually 1-2 games max).

Better safe than sorry. Thankfully we’re doing good right now in his absence. I think when he comes back, it’ll be best for him to come off the bench so he doesn’t strain himself too much.

  3. Heard he wasn’t starting and was like ‘’nah I’m good” ?? Jk jk but hope it heals up soon

It’s better to rest him if the knee is flaring up. We will need him for the play-in but we should be good once we clobber the 🚀 tonight.

feel like they’re hiding something. Wolves was like this too with KAT initially

Something is not right, they are hiding the seriousness of this injury.

We’ve been winning without him 🤷🏻‍♂️

our 21 year old star taking the Kawhi comps a little too seriously

  9. So when should we start getting worried? God forbid he doesn’t come back for play ins or am I overthinking?

to have knee tendonitis at this age isnt a good look, could affect his salary negotiations going forward

We are better on defense without him because he overhelps too much which leads to open threes. Wiggins is the X factor for us going forward. Get Wiggins in form and give moody minutes. Sit Kuminga is better for us at the moment IMO.

I remember either Kerr or a warriors staff member saying they weren’t concerned. Such a fucking piece of shit these people

Damn. Kuminga is so fun to watch. I’m sick of him being out. Hopefully he can play tomorrow

Hopefully it doesn’t become a chronic issue. Offensively, he provides this team with another dimension.

Thank god that we have been winning. So there’s no need to rush him back. Also with the way the team has been rolling rn, it is best for both him and the team to bring him off the bench.

  15. That’s fair, probably best to keep him out of both back to back games if it’s taking longer to ramp up.

Shit. I know people in here keep saying “we’re winning without him” but I think we really are gonna miss him in this Houston game. We need that athleticism and go-to scoring option. Lets hope Wiggins and Moody continue their run of play. We need Closer Steph and locked in Klay tonight.

  17. This is a red flag for the future… This is not injury related.

Better safe than sorry. Two massive games coming up.
