This is from a back in the day movie called the Warriors, a famous line is “Warriorssss come out to playyyy” and he says that while clinking glass bottles together. Tari Eason said “Warriors come out to play” while the Rockets were on their 10-game winning streak catching the Warriors and even wore a shirt saying it to last night’s game, but it backfired in the worst way lmao.

Sam mentioned this on the Light Years podcast but the funny thing about the initial troll from Eason is in the movie, this happens at the very end of the movie in the clip you see linked in other comments. The guy chanting is the leader of the Rogues and he’s taunting the Warriors. The Warriors then proceed to absolutely wash the Rogues and the movie ends with the Rogues leader being given over to another gang to presumably be killed.
So taunting in the movie ends up in the equivalent of a 20 point blowout that ends the season.

You should watch the movie, it’s definitely a bit cheesy but it knows what it is and it’s fun as hell
