It confirm to me that the recent defensive surge was indeed paired with an offensive drop. The DJJ + PJ forward pair might be a bit too defensive and offenively challanged, if PJ does not turn up the effeciency on open threes and his usual short hooks and floaters.
In short term, more minutes for Green could solve the issue with small defensive cost, and longer term, the team needs to find a reliable starting quality forward.

Offensively we’ve cooled off, shooting hasn’t been great but I believe that it is simply a slump and we will rebound back to “norm” with more time for these lineups to play together. Which will hopefully be right in time for the playoffs. A very strong defense can get us through this last couple of weeks of games. Luka and Kyrie are the highest scoring backcourt in the league I think still, so once the role players start hitting our offense will be rolling again.

Defense wins championships. Offense will come.
You can practice how to shoot better. But it’s much harder to teach someone how to be a DAWG on defense.

Our defensive improvement has been shocking. No way we saw it being as good as it is. We won the game last night because of our defense. In December we were not winning games because of our defense.
