I know we’re missing two of our best players. But the story has been the same with or without them. If the game is close in the 4th, 9 times out of 10 we choke it away.

I love this team to death but this kind of problem is just so exhausting as a basketball fan.

  2. Total collapse. Up there for worst loss of the season. JV delivered. No one else showed up in the 2nd half. Team is in a freefall at the worst time.

  3. Sslagathor

We’re not going anywhere with this roster. Play in and first round exit is a hard ceiling. I wouldnt be surprised if we fall to the 10th seed now.

  4. lmao im in a toxic relationship with this team. Every time they give me hope, they just disappoint me further.

  5. CmonMan711

Yall still gonna defend Willie? Man gets carried by the talent on this team. He does nothing

  6. ExternalEbb2584

Fire Griff fire Willie bring in D’Antoni

  7. Can we revisit the Zion isn’t needed against the spurs thread? When will these mfers learn. Same people saving Ingram for those playoffs last year that never happened

  8. This team is checked out. It’s clear as day why the Blazers didn’t hesitate in moving on from CJ and Larry.

Who’s ready to get annihilated by Devin Booker Sunday?

  9. Buythedip83

lol yo cj Mccolum is fkin clown. Back to back games it’s out of reach over 4+ point deficit with a couple seconds left and he hits a meaningless buzzer beater. Back to back games loser. Wow he’s seriously a loser

  10. ENProcess

CJ going 12-28 for 28 doesn’t surprise me anymore, I don’t see how anyone can think he plays winning basketball

  11. flaccidplatypus

Can fans storm the post game presser and hold Willie’s feet to the fire?

  12. FlyingSMonster

The only positive thing I can say is the Kings lost so at least we don’t move down….

  13. People got mad at me when I said before the home stand that there was a very real chance the Pels could miss the playoffs….

This scares me because I don’t want Griff using the late injuries as an excuse to keep the same damn team AGAIN.

  14. Infinite_Response113

Willie Green and CJ must atone for their war crimes.

Also, why tf do you not have Jordan Hawkins or Matt Ryan on the last play when you need a 3? You got Dyson daniels out there instead??????????

  15. I would rather watch Solomon Hill instead of Larry and CJ CTE ball

  16. SpaceAfricanJesus

A lot of Pels fans are really upset right now but y’all gotta do one thing:

    #GIVE THEM CREDIT

  17. We are here at the same point every season- at what point do we just say enough is enough?

  18. And you guys expect Gayle to pay the luxury tax for this team?

  19. No way Zion missed this game because of a finger…

  20. Willie is squandering the talent of this roster and it’s bumming me the fuck out

  21. _Wado3000

I think falling back to an assistant, and binding time for another head coaching opportunity would be best for Willie. I think his tenure needs to end after this season.

CJ, boy. You could be an amazing 6th man. Larry, I think you just need spot minutes here or there going forward, you’re a matchup dependent player now.

Jonas you were a monster today. But we need another center here. Would wish you the best if the team parts ways.

  22. definitelydidntcheat

1-5 in a 6 game home stand is some Piston-level nonsense. They’re handling the end of a close playoff run like they’ve handled the ends of close games all year.

  23. Briguy_fieri

I’m at a loss for words. 4 game skid out of playoffs. Into play in. Zion sits with a finger issue. Willie looks beyond lost. We’re gonna move on from JV yet he played great tonight so if we played him more in other games are we in the same situation with the standings? Trey provides 1 clutch 3 per night then the team collapses but he’s not really doing well elsewhere. Herb looks frustrated…

We’re no clearer knowing our future going forward than we were 3 years ago.

  24. CJ is trash and Willie is trash. This team is a fucking joke. Just count the season as over cause we arent going to the playoffs, were losing the 9-10 game

  25. swantonist

Hol up. Before everyone start crying, Zion finger be hurtin’. It be sore a little bit.

  26. [deleted]

Willie needs to be gone within 24 hours no way you lose to a tanking team and a not so impactful scoring game from Wemby even without your 2 best players in bi and z and Jose it’s inexcusable.

Also hopefully griff sees this and makes actual moves this offseason to help out the team and are best players.

  27. It’s a damn shame what is happening to this team. Choking away four losses in a row in embarrassing fashion. And to think we were the fourth seed a week and a half ago…

  28. We have to find a way to move CJ. We cannot keep this mfer…we can’t

  29. tulsuduke

This L is on whoever made the call for Zion to sit.

  30. I stayed up till 3am for this bullshit.

This was literally the game that I had the most confidence in the Pels winning. I cannot believe that a team that was 4th seed a week ago came out looking like a JV team.

Honestly, I wonder if the team know that BI isn’t coming back. It would certainly explain why their attitude has dropped off since he was injured.

Something isn’t working for this team, and honestly I think that comes down to the coaching.

Willie’s soft, youth pastor approach might work well with kids, but when you’re supposed to be some of the best basketball players in the world, and you want to prove that, you need a coach who will hold people accountable.

  31. thatwhitegu

Y’all remember how good the grizzlies were a year ago without JA. We could never

  32. any casuals still gonna defend Cj? it’s radio silence in here lol. i feel so fucking vindicated right now

  33. jruegod11

Lakers and GSW gonna walk all over this team in the play in

  34. Impressive-Theory-27

The thing that’s so hilarious is guess who’s the most expensive player on our team? CJ ‘I’m diverse in my ventures’ McCollum

Well I’m definitely posting my trade description now, starting with willie Green

I vote we also fire Griff and promote swin cash, she actually won at basketball and seems to know what she’s doing

  35. dominicklala1287

So glad we sat our star player against an “easier opponent” for a bruised finger. That really worked out.

  36. Distinguished1504

Devin Booker next game so hold your horses guys we are not out of the dog house yet 😭😭😭

  37. whatjever

Just hit a +2400 bet from CJ’s garbage time 3.

I’m going to use some of my winnings to buy some throwback Willie Green jerseys so I can light them on fire.

Edit: I don’t blame Willie for this loss.. I just blame him for a lot of the losses prior to this one

  38. P0w3rline24

“Extremely proud of our group” – Coach Willie, are you fucking for real?

  39. Willie Green must be held accountable for this unacceptable defeat and be removed from office within the next 24 hours
