This is the first loss that made me seriously doubt whether we make the playoffs, I had 100% confidence we would make the playoffs until now. I know we’re 4-0 against them, I don’t trust this team to beat the kings, I don’t trust them to beat the lakers or warriors, I don’t think they stand a chance against the mavericks or suns. The team is still talented and things can change quickly, but Jake is right that this team is not growing like it should. This team just seems to lack that consistent winner’s mentality, which is an issue with everyone in the organization, Jake is right that big changes are needed

The season has come full circle. It started with struggles and injuries and it's ending the same.
Jake, Willie seems like a nice person but let's be honest. Zion avg 27 7 3 on 60% in his second season. He started off this season saying he's trying to buy in and he did and what did Zion look like… 22 5 4 on 58%. Zion didn't regress, Willie misused him. He miss used JV, Hawkins, Larry, BI and Matt. Pelz roster is as good as Okc, Wolves, Magic even last season Grizz, but look where Pelz are…smh
Complete catastrophe. They don't want it, else they wouldnt of went 1-5 AT HOME during the most important part of our season. Now we are once again going to get the Devin Booker Sunday special. I'm done with it, and i'm tired of being done with it. We deserve better than this.

Willie is a fool. Season is over in my eyes Jake. Somethings seriously wrong with this team and front office.
Fire Willie Sims! This is all on him. Willie has destroyed this team with his center fiasco. Just let JV play and start and relieve him with Nance. JV can get buckets and punish on offense, he can rebound, make good passes and decisions and has led a top 7 defense two years running. But know Willie goes and fucks it all up. You want JV gone, do it in June, not in March and April.

I told everyone that rim protection and a point guard down the stretch would come back to haunt this squad, and here we go. Griffin and Green have to fall in the sword. One of them has to go. Or both of em.

I don't understand this guy's hatred for Jonas. The PELS were up 15 points because of him and the offense looked stable. Jonas goes out of the game and all you get is 3s from everyone. I'm sure Jonas has contusions all over but he plays every game.
Zion great but he’s undersized & he’s not a shooter, he not a good fit for the team but he would do wonders for another team… Willie Green took all of Hawkins confidence away by pulling him out the lineup, Trey need to start taking closer 3’s, other than that his game elevated, Herb jones needs to slow down on some of those fast breaks and stop forcing layups up but other than that his shooting improved… long story short the pelicans have a talented roster the coach just have to put it all together
We have bent over backwards to tool this team for a player who is as soft as Charmin. IF IN FACT # 1 had a jammed finger on his non-shooting hand, medical recommendations (or not) be damned, he needs to insist on playing. This franchise, management team, the fawning media, the patient Pelican fanbase, the Benson Pocketbook have spared no expense to build a team (and his bank account) around his supposed basketball talent.
Frankly, I am not as impressed as many with the team's (and media's) over-estimation of his basketball skills. He does one thing well and now everyone on the league is on to his schtick. Any competent NBA player can guard him when you know what he's going to do 95% of the time.
What makes Luka, the Joker, Giannis, Durant, Embiid, and LBJ so feared is that you have to pick them up above the three point line, because they can beat you in so many ways. Our guy? Not so much, Heck, KAT, Mitchell, SGA, Edwards, Banchero, Leonard, George, and Wemby (a rookie) pose more of an offensive threat offensively than our 6'5'', 300lb, athletic behemoth, who can only do one thing on the offensive end of the court very well, but not against good teams or length.
I guess what really swells me up is that he's been here for five years and has done nothing to expand his game. Heck he's had the time; he's barely played half the team's game during that timespan…so he's had the time.. Point Zion is a an utter failure. His handle is WEAK…WEAK…WEAK. Tell the truth, don't you hold you breath a little when he drives…hoping it doesn't result in, yet, another turnover? And, if the ball isn't in his hands offensively, we are playing four on five because he's not engaged.
It amazes me how many of you are ready to usher Ingram out of the front door. But, truth be told, BI is much closer to the threat of a Luka, a Joker, a Giannis, a Durant, an Embiid, and a LBJ is, then # 1 will ever be.
My suggestion would be # 1 for Banchero straight up and run it all back again. But, Orlando would likely laugh in my face.
