Catching up to the Mavs and Suns doesn’t matter anymore but it looks like we should be hoping the Pelicans collapse in their final games. They play the Suns (away), Blazers (away), Kings (away), Warriors (away) and Lakers (home). Its a much harder schedule than the Kings who play the Nets, Thunder (likely without SGA), Pelicans, Suns and Blazers. I see the Pels going 1-5 while the Kings going 3-2 or 4-1.
If the Lakers go at least 4-1 and most importantly beat the Pelicans, we should steal the 8th seed.

I’ll put all my money i have (Which isn’t much) that the Lakers repeat the 7th seed like last year. My prediction: I think they face OKC in the first round. Phoenix in second round. Denver in conference finals and win their 18th NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics in 6 games. Anthony Davis will be named Finals MVP.
