Can the Lakers make a strong playoff run?
I could see teams purposely losing to those teams just to hurt the Lakers in the standings. If the Clippers clinch the 4th, I see them purposely losing their last two games versus the Sun's, as an example. Wouldn't be shocked if Boston loses King's game tonight since they already Clinched homecourt.

I think the Lakers has good chance taking that six spot from the Suns by just looking at the Suns schedule. Kings has 33 loses now and Pels has 32.
The key is what has always been get extra points from refs giving you free throws rigged

My goodness the changes in just a few hours. NOW the Lakers are already tied with the Kings and only 1 game behind the Pelicans. The 7th seed is in their grasp. Now if only somebody else besides the Nuggets are in 2nd place.

The lakers actually now have a chance for the 6th seed if they win out. Suns schedule is brutal the next 5 so they could potentially lose 2 of those games. All the lakers need is Kings to lose 1, Suns to lose 2 and lakers win out. 6th seed would go to lakers if all that happens.
Nick, you make so much sense in that scenario!!!! The suns are hooping right now so I think they beat the pels their next game, win one and lose one with the clips n beat the kings and wolves securing the 6th seed, pels can possibly go 1-4 in their last 5 games… the pels will fall to the 9th seed possibly the playoffs because the league needs Steph in the playoffs, and we will have a lakers kings 7/8 match up, lakers beat the kings and secure the 7th seed and will either play the wolves or okc because Denver plays one play in team (hawks) and 3 teams that are out of the playoffs and will get revenge on the wolves for beating them last week, Denver will secure the #1 seed going 5-0 their last 5, all lakers fans want is do be on the opposite side of the bracket from Denver…… someone said it here I’ll say it too, NICK this video will age well!!!!!

I know this is old, but if the lakers beat the cabs today they are the 8th seed. But sunday if the suns lose we have the opportunity to get to the 6th seed because we will have had rhe tie breaker with pels, but if the pels lose to the suns and we go in the 7th seed and get a lil wiggle room with Minnesota win. But these next back to backs are extremely crucial and i do believe we can get that 6th seed. Its not out of reach. Its a game and half away from us
