Our starting lineup has been dreadful offensively, am I the only one confused with the Bench Herro mob?

We need Herro in the starting lineup cause lets face it, Jimmy has been super sandbagging with his slower speed, bad postups, and oversharing of the ball when there’s easy layups. Not to mention hes a bad pnr passer. Herro rightfully in the starting lineup with Rozier Bam and Jovic will overcome this. The Bench has Love and Delon as backup playmakers and primary ballhandlers. Don’t know why so many people are concerning about bench scoring other than a thinly veiling way to shit on Herro. Yall are weird (not you OP since I agree with you).

Our offensive rating with him is 112.6 and our offensive rating without him is 117.1 but I guess using some cherry picked stats that aren’t even adjusted for pace is more convenient to push narratives

The starting lineup’s offense goes almost as Duncan goes. He hasn’t looked the same since coming back from that back injury and so the offense tanked. Swapping him out for Herro would at least give you someone that’s a more consistent scorer.

Why are people here so obsessed with the starting line up. Like who gives a shit? Kevin Love started in the ECF last year after getting bought out in CLE because he wasn’t playing at all lol.

Spo is gonna adjust lineups as needed and he often plays non-starters for 32+ min, which will likely be the case for Herro assuming his health stays fine.

People act like the game is some AI simulation where you lock in your starters and then wait to see what happens. It’s just the first 5 guys on the floor and it will probably vary based on matchup and situation anyways. We need to assess how the team is playing as a whole, there isn’t some secret trump card in our back pocket by shifting around who starts.

I feel it will balance with not so much pressure to carry the second unit. Plus he can come off and Spo decide who to end with like on Houston.

A bench that can build a lead is a unique gift

    Wait… What… There’s a bench Herro mob?? 🤦

Oh you just mean off the bench cause otherwise its like 🤦

  7. As long as Bam/Tyler play together most of the minutes

What I would do is stagger Rozier and Herro’s minutes so we have a scorer on the floor at all times. And try to match Bam with Herro as much as possible

or maybe no matter what lineup it is the team just isn’t good offensively

  10. Jimmy/Love and Herro/Bam are the 2 core units. Everyone else can fit in around these pairings.

I don’t really care about who starts 🤷🏻

I care about total minutes and who closes. Tyler will get starter minutes whether he starts or not.

Duncan won’t play 40 minutes whether he starts or not.

Who plays more and who closes games has nothing to do with who starts. Spo will have the lineup ready by the playoffs.
