I came across this Pacers prototype jersey on eBay and was wondering if any fans had some more information on these? I’ve tried to do some research but have found very minimal information. I will say that I’m a fan of the different style like this and wouldn’t mind having something like this be a future city or statement jersey.

They had warmups with this style. Not sure if they ever wore them but there used to be one hanging in a display on the balcony level.
From what I’ve gathered, these were designed by a man named Tom O’Grady from GamePlan Creative. According to him, this design was approved by the team, but they backed out after the NBA entered a licensing agreement with GAP and they pushed through the pinstripe design with big money involved. This is all according to him and he seems a little bitter. So idk how true it all is. But his story seems plausible.
