  1. The issue is that journalists who vote can understand advanced stats, and Jokic is leading the league in all of those, PER, win shares, etc. But the ESPN talking heads don’t/can’t understand them. Stephen A, Perk RJ, etc just can’t understand complex data analysis so they revert to “eye test” and counting stats, so they under estimate Jokic.

  2. Hastings is inarticulate and clueless. I can't believe he has a job. He says Jokic isn't 'modern.' What a completely dumb take. Jokic is the definition of modern position-less basketball. He's doing stuff as a big never seen before. He says he's like an old man in a YMCA league. Again, what a shockingly ignorant take. jokic dominates the most athletic league in the world but he's 'like an old man.' Please, someone take the microphone out of this clown's hands. Please.

  3. Alot of chance actually i have the feeling it will repeat last year these people in nba media hates him because his white, you can ask perk.

  4. Actually in that scenario considering their relative injury history and overall statistics… yeah you do 'lose' if you take Embiid. Obviously, it's not like you get a 'bust' number one pick or anything like that, but if you are an NBA GM and you look at the body of work in today's players and you have the very first pick… you take Joker every time.

  5. Yeah, Jokic is fine. He'll do his thing – but we're still waiting for the fat (canadian) lady to start singing. She might – she might not. It's so exciting not to know.

  6. I kinda hope he doesn't win MVP; look at what followed last year: an NBA Championship and a playoff MVP. Jokic couldn't care less about the MVP; he wants another championship. And so do I.

  7. ESPN basketball 'experts' want an American to win so badly and will do everything possible to make it happen because if Joker wins a 3rd MVP he joins the alltime greats (which he is) but they cant accept it

  8. Denver Nuggets coach MM has a problem, Jokić keeps the team calm. Murray leaves the Denver Nuggets team stranded again – resting when the team needs it most. Murray is asking for a contract of 311 million and is considered the ayatollah of basketball, in difficult games MPJ has an average of 20 percent for 3 points or 25 percent for 2. Dissatisfaction in the Denver nuggets team – only Jokic holds them – the team without Jokic is for the Mongolian league – 21 percent for 3

  9. How can you be the best player in the world when embiid drops over 40 on you every time while you struggle to put up 20. I would be so embarrassed if that was Lebron fan and KD did that to him everytime. Or if I was a Jordan fan and sum other dude in the league I know is better. Jokic a sympathy MVP
