The fact that people actually wanted Griffin over Doc Rivers just proves how nobody knows what the hell they’re talking talking about these days.
Doc has been living off that 08 title for years but go look at that run. It was horrible still. The Celtics went to 7 games in 3 of the 4 series. They played the most playoff games of any time in a single post season in NBA history. That was with three of the top 100 players of all time starting. And doc BARELY got them over the finish line.
Love that people are finally admitting that the Hawks play better without Trae Young. A lot of these ball-dominant, "me me me" players are so wildly overrated. The most important stat is wins and losses. There is way too much talent in the league to run an offense through one guy, unless that one guy is the elite of the elite. Even Steph, the greatest shooter of all time and a one of the greatest players of all time, will always try to get the team going first – he only starts to take over and dominate the ball when he knows it is necessary. Trae isn't like that – he's less talented, and is ball dominant by default, as opposed to using discretion.
Shut up with the tre young disrespect. Teams step up when needed. Let them play and you continue to sit and talk

4:18 agree 100%. There a couple of games left in regular season so still gonna be some movement in standings. But heat vs bucks in 1st round is a possibility. Who do you trust, Spo or Doc

Bucks are more concerning because Dame is heading out of his prime. Giannis is getting older and he’s starting to get hurt more and less invincible. That’s the answer, this is a RIGHT NOW window for both of them. The Celtics core is young asf and they have time. Even though losing this year would be considered a bust.

Empty discussion! Like it or not, in today's NBA, regular season is a joke. No one cares. They come up on court, jack up 3s, if they ~40% they win, if below 30% they loose, anything in between generates fairly interesting game. That's it… until next game. And here, media tries to analyze that?!?!? Joke!

You can blame Doc Rivers for their failings. The man has had one good season in his coaching career and the rest of them have been epic flameouts while having superstars. I swear he must have compromising pictures of every executive in the league because that man shouldn’t anywhere near a professional basketball team.
