Its a pleasant surprise to have a player that can check giannis at halfcourt and have the strength and speed to keep up with him. With mitch back there for help, giannis was put in jail.
He still merchanted his way to 30pts but the number of points he scored was not indicative of how the team clamped him up when it mattered most.

A lot of padding in that video. Giannis missing open jumpers over OG is not a highlight. He’ll take those shots all day. I’m glad OG put his hand up. lol Mitch boxing out and causing errant pases is not an OG highlight.
Also, Giannis went 28 pts on 50 shooting, 15 rebs, 8 assist. An average Giannis game and another day at the office. He had a worse game against freaking Memphis last week.
Just how we drew it up. Can’t wait for him to shut down every no. 1 option in the playoffs. Completely different team with OG in there.

I noticed this one possession where OG was on Dame and it looked like a mirror. Any direction Dame moved, OG did as well. I’m not sure that’s something you can teach. Glad he’s a Knick.
OG is an absolute menace. considering how competent our FO has shown themselves to be, he’s worth any contract we give him even if he only plays 70% of the time. the thibs system is a force multiplier for his style of play – his impact on winning is insane.
giannis lacked competitive fire. looked like he wanted no part of the smoke man. completely dissapeared and seemed perfectly content with letting the collapse happen.
