It'll be nice if the Lakers get the 8th seed and lose in another "competitive" sweep in the 1st round versus their Daddy Jokic.
Pelicans are faker's to Lakers
The Lakers could come out of the west if they catch fire at the right time. It’s been awhile since we’ve seen a back to back nba champion but yet this year it could be up for grabs.
The NBA support's Donald Custer Trump's abortion ban to women
SAS shooting shots
whos ninth in the east? I would rather hear about that team.
The biggest threat to Denver is a fully healthy clippers
Lakers have no chance without Vando
Timberwolves and Clippers
Mavs? Clippers will beat them in the first round.
Kyrie isn't a come back player of the year. He is great and doing exactly what we know Kyrie does
Please the Lakers are beating garbage teams omg smh
Whats the season series DAL vs LAC, KAWHI on LUKA that would be crunchy
West is so young the lakers have a shot to make noise but taking clips and suns over lakers
Why does Shannon keep referencing that Celtics game lol. The Celtics didn't try. They saw Lebron and AD were out, went at 50%, and got beat. It's not indicative of anything.
9th seed the biggest threat cmon man
Lebron sits out agianst every hood team dude a coward
I totally understand Shannon's desire to believe in the Lakers. I am a Warriors fan and I am pretty delusional myself when it comes to our title chances, but you can't be a play-in team (with the playoffs not even being a guarantee) and say you are the biggest threat. It makes no sense.
People might be tired of the Lakers talk, but tbh I don't see anyone else that, at least on paper (key phrase) , matches up with the Nuggets as well as them. People keep trying to make them "just" the Jokic team as though Murray is garbage, MPJ isn't a sniper, etc. You need 4 deep minimum to beat them. Lakers have that with Bron, AD, DLo, Reaves/Rui (if the latter three show up the way they're capable of). I'm not saying they'll win, but from an on paper matchup discussion, to me, they're the team in the West with the strongest chance of victory, even with the sweep last year. I don't trust the Clippers. Suns don't have the defense. Minnesota needs a CONSISTENT third scoring option/sixth man who can give them 15+ and is capable of 20+ but I don't know if that person is Naz Reid, I need to see him in the playoffs before I go that far and Ant/KAT duo is just a less trustworthy Bron/AD (imp). Thunder too young. Lakers have the HOFs, championship experience, defense, etc. ON PAPER, I'd rather see what they can do against this Nuggets team than most of the others.
The Lakers miss the play in without the refs help
That's one game, but 7 forget it. Dlo will have to score 44 every night. They gotta get to Denver.
