Mavs have more bigs to throw at Jokic and the nuggets back up centers as suppose to just relying on AD to lockdown Jokic and with JVB being injured is going to mess up the lakers defensive schemes. You can say the same for Luka, they have enough PGS-SF to throw at him, but now who’s going to close out Kyrie and all the other players being left open or unguarded ? Mavs got some shot blockers now also.
I'm a KD fan an root for him and the Suns. But the biggest threat is Dallas. That trade for Gafford was HUUUUGE!! They had frontcourt depth with Washington, Gafford and Lively. And u have 2 of the best 1 on 1 players in the NBA. Irving and Luka can get a bucket on anyone..

Prior to that Rockets game, the Mavs had the #1 defense in the league over the last 20-some games. Combine that with having 2 of the most unguardable players in the game….this team is gonna make noise in the playoffs.
Suns are the only team that could beat Denver in play offs, imo. They gave them the most problems last season in the playoffs, and seem to be better this season, and have actually beaten Nuggets recently, back to back. Mavs are probably next in line, and Wolves, if fully healthy. Having said that, I think Nuggets are back in the Finals.
