NBA Exec: Mavericks’ Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving Are Best Duo In NBA. “They complement each other so well and they genuinely like each other. I wouldn’t be surprised if Dallas makes a serious run in the playoffs. I don’t see a defense stopping Luka and Kyrie in a seven-game series.”

It needed time. Everyone expects major star moves to pay off initially. It needed an off-season and time. I remember not seeing much actual ball movement between them early on. And then there were some injuries that slowed it, too.

Giannis and Dame could learn a lot.

Durant/Book/Beal and Russ/Harden/PG/Claw … that’s another story. 2 stars works with the incoming CBA. Not more. And their benches currently and/or will suffer big time. Dallas is working, and MIL has a shot, because it’s a 2 star system with a legit bench. Mind you all of these teams are top heavy, so an injury destroys anyone, but DAL and MIL can withstand an injury *better* than the other 2. Clippers do have some bench dudes but kiss that goodbye into the next seasons. They’ve already alienated at least some of them by bringing in more aging, fading, expensive stars.

They need another superstar or all nba guy with them and it will be a hard team to beat. Need a solid 3 and D guy.

Meanwhile the media would have you believe Luka takes all the shots and doesn’t share the ball and his teammates hate playing with him and he and Kyrie still can’t play together.

TBH, the Mavs have such a chip on their shoulders.

The media, the casuals, and the toxic fans of the league hated the idea of the Kyrie and Luka together.

Every national sports blowhard gave us shit. Luka and Kyrie are about to bring us Championship. I’ll say it right now.

Next season, they’ll be a top 3 teams in the West. Luka will win his 2nd MVP.

Nba Execs always sound like the comedic genius Magic Johnson in stating the obvious. Thanks Einstein.

  6. I’m pretty hype so many dudes being so much better than advertised. Nico on a heater right now.

But… I still have two massive concerns to actually getting it done.

First is still coaching. Kidd has been doing well recently I honestly think he gets a lot of shit, but most of the time he is experimenting early in the season. He seems to step his game up later on and kinda coast early. Praying that’s true.

Second is the fact that Luka and Kyrie are unstoppable… Things change in the playoffs and when a team can’t stop you they just up the physicality which is going to be a gauntlet to make it through this year. We’ve been battling a poor record due to injuries and finally put a good team together after the trade. We’ve been fighting for our lives for too long. It’s why teams like the nuggets are just chilling heading into the playoffs. Hopefully next year we can set ourselves up better but idk if Luka is going to make it through the playoffs he is looking tapped right now.

We are going to be a problem….

I love our chemistry. Everyone in the middle of the court yesterday hugging and I’m literally standing up alone in my house tears down my face clapping
