I don’t think losing him would be a huge deal to be honest.

  2. Water is wet. More updates on the evening news…… Don’t think anyone expects him to not decline the player option.

edit: also, everyone relax. He never said he won’t re-sign with the Lakers. He is going to test free agency. We all knew this since last offseason when he originally signed this contract.

  3. After this great season from him (provided he does well in the playoffs), it was a given that he would opt out of his player option. He wants stability through a long term deal.

Let’s see what he does in the playoffs this time.

  5. KaseyOfTheWoods

Makes sense, he has played WAY better than an $18-19m player this year. Hope we re-sign him

  6. It depends. If in the playoffs he struggles, I doubt teams lineup to give him a bag unless Orlando just desperately wants him. If he’s decent then yeah.

Worst kept secret in the league Lakers going after Trae.

D’Lo will probably get 30 million or more a year if he keeps playing at this level for the rest of the season and playoffs

This guy deserves the max contract. Even if he doesn’t get it from the Lakers. He definitely earned it this season. We are where we are because of him.

He fits too perfect in LA. I cant see him going elsewhere, nor anyone else wanting to pay him more.

Windhorst is literally a blow hard! Made his career off Lebron.

I’m worried Ham’s remaining presence is going to cause players to not want to come back next season. He screwed the team chemistry over by benching Rui and Dlo. That move will impact Lakers come free agency if Ham is not let go

Nah, we are dlos first love.
We are like the asshole abusers, and he’s like the wife who refuses to leave him.

Hoping he plays his ass off in the playoffs for a max contract. He knows that performance last year in the west finals cost him a max contract.

$19 million is an underpay for his production even if just regular season. Of course he’s going to look for more money

  16. ConsiderationMean358

I wouldn’t either if he keeps playing this good. Hes gonna want a new contract.

  17. elsavador3

No one knows, because it’s entirely contingent on how he performs in the playoffs

DLO wishing lakers get bounced out of the play in tournament. lmao. He will get the bag if the season ends NOW. If he flames out again in the playoffs he will get jackshit lmao.

Buddy Hield puts up similar stats and has played better defense than DLO in the past. He gone y’all!
