Good video!
Unless you over pay I don't see Kyle Anderson or Batum going to a rebuild team ..and I doubt we get the raptors pick
Topic and Buzelis would be am ideal draft.
Toronto is going to finish #6. All we need in the lottery is for one team to move up that isn’t Toronto or Portland, and we’ll get the pick.
Lauri Markkanen, Josh Giddy, Jonathan Issac should be our top 3 targets to trade for
Half the foundation players will be gone. When your players are going into their 5th and 6th NBA seasons they are not in the category of "I like our young players" anymore imho. They are in the category of this isn't working out and we need to pivot in a different direction.
Batum announced in the french sport magazine that he retires at the end of the olympics 😉
question : if you are for ex 2pick, and the 2nd draft he is not what you want can you take 3, 4 or other ? or do you have to take 2 ?
Why do Spurs fans want to keep these bums? You think Wemby will want to stay if we take this bottom 5 team for the "long haul"?
Nic Claxton will be a great free agent pick up or if Anunoby doesn't resign with the Knicks.
Enjoyed the analysis and cogent takes. That said I think the Spurs need to make some sort of FA move if we want to be in the playoff hunt next year. I don’t believe this draft will yield what we need.
I’m not taking a Trae Young type of move either – I was actually thinking as you were – Batum / SloMo.
We know the Spurs are unlikely to make a big splash but these are different times and Victor is way ahead of the curve. They might just depart from the status quo
Personally, i would throw Keldon, Maliki, and 2 1st-round picks for markkitin. Only if he signs an extension. Then i would trade picks for a good pg like Garland.
Maliki has had some great games lately – not perfect but he is showing his worth.
Very good review. However, I think the hawks want wayyyyy too much for Trae young.
Here's what I wonder, why no one mentions that DeMar DeRozan is going to be a free agent this summer and still is averaging 20+ points a game for the Bulls. I think he still likes Pop and I can imagine he's one of the many who see Wemby as a budding Super Star. Imagine a line up of him at the 3, Devin, and Wemby. Then you add a top 5 guard like Topic or Dillingham and if the Spurs get the Toronto pick maybe you swing for the fences a bit and take Buzelis, Cody Williams, or Ron Holland.
That to me is at least a play-in team because the Spurs have a number of picks possibly in the '25 draft and '26 that would allow them to ditch tanking and possibly still get one, maybe 2 lottery picks. So the Spurs can just play and win and they don't have to mortgage everything to get a Tre Young or Cade Cunningham. DeMar would solve a lot of the Spurs ills.
We can say this or that but it's really up to the spurs management
This team has good potential. Their just too small. They don't have legit forwards. This team is mostly made up of guards
get rid of blake wesley 17 per cent from 3,s
-unaacceptable-he is not a foundation playerIf you don't consistently pass the ball to wemby not knowing he's the best player on the team you need to go…
I cant say I agree with Wesley. Got to love his effort, but unless he can learn to shoot, I wouldnt keep him.
