Good college player, worry about foot speed
Sir… Another Zach Edey has hit the NCAA
If you watch Edey highlights from IMG days, he was so much more fluid and mobile than Rioux. This kid will probably do fine in college, but he’s the “too tall to move naturally” type of tall.
Everybody on this board wants to sound like the smartest guy in the room and write edey off as an nba player.
He’ll have a good nba career. Maybe not starting center, but he’ll have a role. He’s too big and talented not to.
I remember arguing with a friend that small ball was more of a Steph thing, and not the way the game would go long term. I said the league will always be a big man’s game.
He insisted big men were going the way of the dinosaurs, he told me we would stop seeing 7 footers in the nba.
I won’t, but I could really give him an ‘I told you so’ on that one
