For all of Luka’s responsibilities on the court Luka’s 3 point shooting is impressive. He improved a lot with his percentage and efficiency.
Luka isn’t even the best 3pt shooter on the Mavs. It’s Kyrie! Kyrie averages nearly 40% from 3 for his career. He’s shootings 41% from 3 this season. So please stop Nick smh.
I’m not sure if Luka is second best but he’s definitely high on the list. The crazy thing is that I think he can definitely get to 40% or from 3 next year

If the Clippers lost there was incentive to maybe try and get the 4th seed for home court but if the Suns lose we lock up 5th and I'd start trying to rest Luka, Kai, and Exum before the playoffs. This team is in the Finals if healthy

The main reason I'm not confident about the Clippers series over other teams is because the Clippers are all Playoff tested. George and Kawhi are playoff risers who can keep Luka from bombing them into submission.
I feel like Luka and Kyre have the playoff experience to make a team completely demoralized. Teams like the Jazz and Suns plainly rolled over and quit. Clippers won't do that. They'll take it 6 or 7 games.
Also Tyronne Lue can coach Jason Kidd into a coffin. Some western teams have middling coaches about as negligent as Kidd.

So with the suns loss, Dallas is guaranteed 6th at worst. There is no point in risking injuries and I think the boys could use a few extra days of rest. They could also wait and see what happens in this Minnesota/Denver game and try to get in the opposite side of the bracket as Denver. Also, I think the clippers might actually be the toughest team not named the nuggets.
