Exactly. He’s not cut out to be a head coach. Both seasons 2-10 starts.
He needs to go. Needs to be fired right after our last game and the coaching search needs to start immediately afterwards.

In fairness how consistent is our front office with role players, we’re always rediscovering our role players, trying to rediscover our wheel.

A lot of our inconsistent lineups were due majorly to injuries and recovery, we bitch about Ham starting guys like Prince but he’s suited up for 75 games so far. Rui has missed 10 more games and been on minutes restriction around 20. We finally got balance when we got Dinwiddie and our starting backcourt started trying on defense. Ham has his problems but blaming it all on him is how you get a new coach and no changes to attitude or roster and we do the same thing next year.

One would only “fool around with lineups” when nothing is working and, if you recall, the Lakers three point shooting was a disaster to start the year. Their shooting only turned around after the trade deadline. There was not much the coaching staff could do to get the team to shoot better, other than what they were doing, focusing on fundamentals and preaching patience and confidence with their shooters. This eventually worked, as we’ve been seeing great shooting recently – over the last 15 games the Lakers have ranked 8th in 3PT%, but over the first two months the Lakers ranked 22nd in 3PT%. Nothing was going to work until the Lakers started shooting better because the system they use requires good three point shooting.

I remember early on in the season some of the Ham apologists were saying that he was allowed to tinker with the lineups because it was early and the games didn’t mean anything. Hahaha. What stood out to me most after the game was Draymond saying “we knew we were going to get good looks with the defense they were playing”. Teams are going into the games against the Lakers laughing at their defensive scheme. This team continues to give up dare shots to professionals.
