I don’t watch a lot of college ball, so every year at this time I hit [Tankathon](https://www.tankathon.com/mock_draft) and watch N minutes of highlights to get a first impressions of players. I start at the bottom and work my way up… so this isn’t in any real order.
Here’s my first pass for 2024… if they’re not on this list I didn’t like them for whatever reason, or didn’t like them for the Bulls. Eg. Clingan. Comments are just Stream of conscious. Second pass is watching stretches of games.
Feel free to shit on them or better yet, post your own!
– **Reed Sheppard** – BALLER. Love this kid… if he’s not playing with Wemby next year fire everyone
– **Alexandre Sarr** – upside for days
– **Zaccharie Risacher** – 6’9 skinny french kid; has some stuff; good movement shooter
– **Rob Dillingham** – kids a BUCKET. Great shot nice moves… not a pg but…
– **Dalton Knecht** – movement shooting wing and NICE. Heady and tough… he’d look great on the Bulls?
– **Stephon Castle** – good size; dog; smooth; good bag; can’t shoot
– **Terrence Shannon Jr.** – old but good d and shot looks okay… he’ll be on Denver š
– **Ryan Dunn** – the wing we all want but is all D and no 3. thybulle part 2
– **Devin Carter** – small pitbull two. Good bag/shot… how does he not end up on Memphis?
– **Tyler Kolek** – small but nice pg. Like legit pg. Vision; baller; decent shot…
– **Tristan da Silva** – 6’9 F german kid. Smart cutter good shooter knows how to play… old
– **Kyshawn George** – not bad; 6’8 guard that can handle and pass. A bit rough but has some stuff; good shot on low attempts
– **Ulrich Chomche** – BIG: 6’11 that can defend and shoot the 3(38% on 7 attempts)? Still a bit rough but upside
– **Jaylon Tyson** – wing that can kinda shoot, can get his own and has a decent bag at the rim
– **Melvin Ajinca** – french kid has some stuff; doesn’t know how to play yet? 19; athlete with great length and decent shot… looks upsidey?

u forgot matas buzelis and nikola topic bro, I think theyād fit very well in our roster, especially Matas
Not wanting Clingan is wild to me. Iād easily take him, but I also like Shannon and Knecht. I do not expect them to draft any of the 3 because AKME only seem to go for massive project players.
With this draft especially itās really hard to figure out who weād be potentially looking at/who would be available at our pick since thereās really no consensus at all.
I know a lot of us want to grab a center and if clingan is available at our pick I think heād definitely be a great option but ultimately I hope we just go bpa or someone with a lot of potential. This team doesnāt have a high ceiling and there isnāt anyone that isnāt replaceable.
With that being said if we do want to grab a center Iād entertain trying to buy into the late first if itās cheap and snag ware. Heās a prospect that really intrigues me
Edit: also I have no idea where Daron Holmes goes but if heās in the second I think itās also a no brainer to try to buy into the second. Ryan Dunn also seems like a very AKME pick. Not too much star power in this draft but I think thereās a lot of value with effective role players and I full expect us to try to buy into the late first/second.
Letās get Shannon. This franchise has nothing better to do than just play fan service. Winning isnāt a priority.
Clingan is my dream pick for the Bulls so it’s funny that he’s your example of players you don’t like for us lol
Bulls are taking Cody Williams he fits the profile exactly:
* long arms
* theoretically good at everything
* actually good at nothing
Weāre not getting him but Alexandre Sarr is fun to watch
People still hating on Zach Edey š7ā4 Vucevic that can actually move his body and play some D. Yall trippin
Just going off the players youāve listed and picking out the ones I know about Iāll add a bit more:
– **Reed Sheppard** – Good feel for the game, got a lot of steals in college, but at 6ā3 and not a true PG, I donāt know if his defensive ability will translate to the league, Iād rather San Antonio targeted Topic
– **Alex Sarr** – Not much more to add, heās the closest thing to a standout in this class with NBA ready defense and star potential, itās just to see if his offensive ability will catch up
– **Zaccharie Risacher** – 2nd most likely to turn into a star in my opinion but I have serious concerns with his shooting ability, the measurables are all there, and he does get active on the defensive end but that results in a lot of fouling
– **Rob Dillingham** – Can easily spark an offense with his shot making ability, but isnāt as capable defensively and is likely to struggle at the next level on that end. Also like you said, not a true PG, and I donāt think heās yet showcased the playmaking ability to run an offense consistently. (1.95 AST/TO ratio)
– **Dalton Knecht** – Classic high floor, low upside senior, can come into the league and make shots consistently in my opinion. Not too sure about his defensive ability, although heāll lose the height matchup against most NBA SFs so that doesnāt help him. One of his bigger knocks is that heāll be 23 when he gets drafted.
– **Stephon Castle** – Again, not much more to add. Good size for a guard, could stand to get more assists based on his usage rate at UConn (compounded by the fact that Clingan is your running mate, but it helped them win a championship so maybe his style will work)
Players Iād really like for us that are in our range I hope we could get are: Cody Williams, Matas Buzelis, Rob Dillingham, Stephon Castle, Ron Holland
> Chomche has a great mentor in two-time all-star and Chicago Bulls legend, Joakim
Hmmmm…
Like I love the upside… he can legit shoot… so hopefully Jo is not helping him with his shot ĀÆ_(ć)_/ĀÆ
