Two things…
1) Schroder has been an absolute pro since being in Brooklyn. He knew he was coming to a bad team, but has played like his life depended on it. Good vet. Will make a great 6th man if we upgrade at the point guard spot this summer.
2) Clowney and Clax are our frontcourt of the future. I’ve seen enough. **The Block Bros™**

I think that’s Mikal’s last home game as a Net
Exciting win.
Mikal might be injured. Doesn’t look right and you’d think after addressing the fans he’d play more than 23 minutes. I suspect he’s injured and they’re just keeping the streak up.
Wilson and Clowney look like absolute gems. Wilson just keeps making smart IQ plays plays tough defense and rebounds. I still don’t buy that Clowney will be able to shoot well enough but man his defense is ridiculous. It took awhile for Clax to protect the rim well but Clowney looks way ahead. Super impressive.
Cam Thomas looked absolutely horrible. I know these games don’t mean anything but the shot selection is just terrible. Some of the fadeaway deep 2-pointers with 2 hands in his face are just ridiculous. At least he’s shooting well from 3 but these are bad habits and he’s not looking at creating for others at all. 0 assists in 37 minutes. Really?
Hopefully we re-sign Clax. Such a fun player to watch when he’s motivated and active. A lineup featuring Dennis/Cam Mikal, DFS and Clowney and Clax can be ridiculous defensively.
Dennis and Watford are true pros pros. Cam and Mikal played terribly but these two always give it all. You’d think they were rookies the way they’re playing in a meaningless game. Good guys for Wilson and Clowney to learn from. Cam Johnson also plays hard whenever he’s in so have to appreciate that.
We were 12-point favorites and were down all game so it’s not exactly a great win but there are still a lot of positives from the young guys so we’ll take it.
Noah Clowney is my new little love it used to be Cam but Im pretty sure he just played his last game in the Baraclys.
Will say as a Cam Thomas beliver that was one of his worst games and keep in mind he had 2 games where he had an 0-fer. He was 7/22 and had no assist, his shot selection and tunnel vision was so bad in these last 2 games.
What if we simply draft another big man and play all the big men together with Cam Thomas. 4 big men and Cam Thomas. Fool proof. Unbeatable.
Clowney and Clax are gonna be a great combo together. Can’t wait to see Dariq and Cam T combine too. That’s the future right there.
Trade the veterans. Hope the Suns crash and burn next season.
