The NBA Has Never Been So Wrong About Josh Giddey | OKC Thunder Rising Star

The NBA Playoff seedings are unpredictable but the OKC Thunder are definitely one of the more exciting teams to emerge into NBA championship contention this season. While the Thunder are headlined by MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as well 2nd year future star Jalen Williams, and Rookie of the Year contender Chet Holmgren, there is another special young player in Oklahoma City and that is Australian hybrid guard Josh Giddey. The OKC Thunder rebuild has already been looking like a huge success under Sam Presti and Mark Daigneault and Giddey is definitely one of the best young pieces that Okc has picked alongside their core of Shai, Jalen Williams, Holmgren, Lu Dort, Cason Wallace, without even including OKC’s stockpile of future draft picks.

After facing a lot of issues early in the NBA season, Josh Giddey is now emerging in his 3rd season as part of the Thunder. The question is, can he be part of the OKC Thunder’s core for the long haul? In the playoffs, OKC will be matched up against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets, Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves, Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks, or even Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns, and also possibly LeBron and the Lakers. Can this young Oklahoma City Thunder squad go far in the NBA postseason?.

  1. The problem with Giddey is that he got a lot of haters.. both in OKC fanbase and outside.. weird situation honestly

  2. The greatest passer I've seen since Magic but the thing I am impressed with the most about G is he has gotten better shooting the layups!!!

  3. Thumbnail referencing allegations and some random Josh slander when content is about his improved play. Okay, whatever it takes to get clicks, right?

  4. He’s improved his defence handles and finishing at the rim this year since he’s confidence, he’ll keep on improving in the playoffs and in the off season and be even better next year, he’s a very high iq player and he’s only 21 in the next couple of years he’ll definitely put on more body mass and be even better at miss matches. He’s already very strong for his size snd age

  5. If you watch faithfully OKC the sudden improvement is startling. He is on a new level, a dominant bully who just takes over the game. OKC scary? How about the possibility of having 5 players who can be all-stars as I include Cason? This team is the second coming of the Bill Russell Celtics.

  6. Riro, still one of the youngest starters in the league. He still has a little baby far but I assume he won’t next year. The Thunder are freaky, a year away but then.
