For a while, I was a little worried about my interest in the NBA once the pinnacle players start retiring.
I.e. Bron, Curry, and maybe 20 more guys.
But then you see every other game the new faces of the league. Wemby, Ant Edwards, Shai, etc.
It’s an exciting time to be an NBA fan.
Wemby shouldn't be truly considered for DPOY yet. I see it similarly to the MVP in that it's about how your performance impacts winning basketball. I know there's other reasons the Spurs are flailing, but it's a different beast do that as the top dog.
Wemby just need to add some more muscle and weight his game is really crazy to watch and only in his rookie year

tall people probably don't know how it feels… but VW is scary the same way a bunch of 5'5" Asian guys playing ball are scared when a 6'5" guy walks on court.
