Haven’t saw a swarming defense played like this since 2011. Even with Luka and Kyrie being below average, everyone else has got length and athleticism to make it incredibly difficult for opposing teams.

There was a hilarious video of Kyrie and Luka horribly missing back to back dunk contest dunks, as a joke and saying “best backcourt duo”, but in all seriousness. They are the best duo in the league. You add Gafford / Wash to what already looked impressive with DJJ / Lively / Green. You are putting two of the most impressive basketball players on the planet with some of the most impressive specimen of athletes in the league. We are seeing offensive dominance with the highest tier of athleticism, altering shots, tipping rebounds, engaging close outs, running the floor, highest of energy. The athletes we’ve acquired over the past year are the only thing Luka and Lyrie were missing. Now that they are here… who tf is to say we can’t make a run? Not me.
