I get that we want to avoid injuries and might not be playing hard, but Joe’s gotta call timeouts to stop runs, AT LEAST. Like, yeah this is the chance to keep games close (even if we’re not playing super hard), so call timeouts.
It’s true that they’re playing somewhat conservatively, but this is their starting five. You can’t tell me that bricking open 3’s is part of their attempt to “coast” the rest of this season.

Do we have it in us. That’s really what this comes down to. Are we able to dig deep as a team or do we still have that label of not being mentally tough enough to make it through stuff like this. Stuff like this makes it feel like we are still that mentally weak team.

Keep downplaying competition like this and warming up for the playoffs with no effort. These guys will be in for a first round elimination.
I mean you can tell they aren’t playing full effort, not closing out, a lot of standing, not much effort on the glass.
They’ll play a lot harder in the playoffs, so I’m not as concerned about that. Mostly, they haven’t played much meaningful ball lately so they might be a tad rusty when it comes to playing hard. Hopefully we get a good draw (not Philly) where we can lock in.
