How come they play the Kings 5 times? I thought the max was always 4, unless they’re in the same division?

Is there any way they can prevent this with the in season tournament?
Tangibly related, I thought the teams that made the final were gonna play 83 games? Did they axe that idea?

New Orleans’s feat of beating an opponent five times in a season is like hitting the replay button on a winning tune – pure basketball brilliance on repeat!
