More. I was not a fan during pre draft but dude has some Josh Hart kinda scrappyness and hustle. If the shot starts falling consistently (and yes, big if) he will be an elite role player at a minimum.

I keep flip flopping. I like his hustle and defensive prowess, but I want him to be a 3 and D guy, and quite frankly, he might not be that ever.
He shows these awesome flashes of grit that reminds me of Harkless or Hart. It’s his first year, so I’m curious to see how he steps up next year.
I might be jaded, but it also wouldn’t surprise me if he wasn’t on our roster after next season. I’m open to being wrong though.

Decent 15-20 minute player eventually, but lacks that dog in him to ever be great

After the TD, looking ahead at potential contracts, less certain that Kris will be on the team through his contract.

I thought he wasn’t a first round guy and Rupert was, and I still feel that way

Less. On draft night he was being touted as a 3&D guy and someone who could come in and immediately contribute in thar regard. So e pundits were surprised he dropped into the 20’s (though he was a back half teens guy). His defense has improved, but his shot is still unplayable on any team that isn’t tanking.

Trevor Ariza type ceiling. Cut out of the NBA type floor.

Less. I’m confident he will be a good 8th man and play a long time. I thought he’d be a legit high end role player and i do not see the offense progressing to the degree it needs to for that projection. Still glad we drafted him and for 23, an nba rotation guy is not a bad outcome. Still a W pick. In baseball terms, I think we hit a single when i was hoping for a double.

Worse but marginally. Like he might still be a first round guy, but more 30 than 20. Jury is still in session tho.

Less. I actually really like the way he plays. High IQ. Solid on defense. Biggest issue I see is fit. He looks to be a lesser version of Walker in many ways right now. He really needs to be an average or better 3 pt shooter to be worth keeping over Walker imo, or have another elite skill. Walker’s elite skill is rebounding and he, like Murray, is high IQ, makes the little things – hustle plays, and has that dog in him.

More, he’s had some really great moments on defense already and I feel his shot will be more consistent as he plays with more confidence in the future. You can see he has a wide open shot at times but convinces himself not to take it.

I would love to have been a fly on the wall in the war room when we drafted Kris considering that’s when Dame was still on the team and Kris was considered someone who could contribute right away. Would the team have gone in a different direction knowing Dame was about to demand a trade? I would guess 100% yes, and that makes me pretty uncertain about his future as a Blazer, but who knows. Hopefully he can dial his shot in and carve out a more consistent role in the meantime.

Significantly less. He’s a 3&D guy who can’t shoot and isn’t better than average defensively.

Completely ambivalent because I don’t see how he fits long term between Camara, Walker, and (probably) the 3/4 type player we draft this year.
I think he’ll probably have a place in the NBA but I don’t see him being more than just another guy.
