Absolutely crushing. Thereās never a good time to lose a parent, but having it happen when youāre so young is truly awful and heās had to do it twice. Heās an only child as well, so heās really going through it by himself now. Feel absolutely terrible for the kid.
I’m heartbroken for him. He’s been so vocal about how much of an influence she’s had on him, it makes the sadness I feel for him even stronger. She seemed like a wonderful woman, rest in peace.

This makes me really sad, imagine his perspective. Him and his mom together at All-Star weekend while playing out of his mind and bam, he goes out with an injury and losses his mother to cancer. I cannot imagine how heās feeling because I know Iād be in quite the headspace. Massive RIP and send massive condolences to his family. I totally understand if he needs time but I feel like heās the type of guy to take this emotion and channel it into his game. If we do get to see him, heāll be a man possessed by playing for his mother and making her proud.

As someone in his 20s whose mother was just diagnosed with cancer I really, really feel for him. Itās so tough. I hope he does whatever it takes to cope well and remain mentally strong. Prayers for him and his family.
Heartbroken. Remember his in-game interview talking about living with his mom and coming home to home cooked meals. Just lost my Pops to cancer 6 months ago. Hope he can find peace, or at the least, momentary distractions.
