Combination of pacing themselves and working through the hole they've dug for themselves with the injury and chemistry issues. The injury to Beal and Book during and after the ASB undid a lot of the momentum they built and having this Final 10 hasn't helped matters.
I hope I'm wrong but this Suns team will probably be 1 and done in the playoffs. I just don't see that dog mentality in Durant or Booker at times.

Never traded for Kevin Durant . They now need to trade him away and get whatever they can for him and rebuild around booker
The problem with this team is all you Book fans and Book stans want the best player to be 2nd to Book.. at some point ya'll need to ask yourself do you want to win or do you only want to win if Book can be the man??
The fatal hubris is thinking that you can just switch greatness to the “on” position. Greatness is a habit that is a result of consistent practice.
I hope not, there is a strong chance they don't even make the play- in. Teams that realistically build in order to compete for a title would never think this way. Every game matters, home court matters, statement wins also matter. This team for whatever reason can't mentally grasp this concept. Now they will pay for it and the fans will suffer because of it.
The warriors and Lakers flipped a switch this season and Pelicans seem to have done the same. We saw it from phoenix then the switch went off. They are bipolar

2022 -23 Miami Heat new exactly what they were doing when they entered into the play in, they shocked everyone and went to the NBA Finals, the Suns have been tanking deliberately in order to strategically position themselves…
