Mamu played great to end the season last year too. Then he got buried on the bench to start this year. I’m hoping his connection with Wemby gets him a new contract and more minutes next year.
He 100% deserves 15 minutes a game at power forward.

I’m baffled that he didn’t get more run this year just to see how he’d do in the mix. Team is still stuck with too many players but I hope he somehow sticks.

I can’t believe we’re falling in love with a Georgian NBA player after what happened a few years ago.

These last few weeks he has really improved his hustle on defense. Crashing the glass, boxing out, clearing screens, etc,. It’s what I wish y we got more of from Malaki.
With a strong FA or rookie wing and PG in the mix he along with Julian are going to transform the bench unit.

I have a feeling we only didn’t play him much because we were tanking and we don’t want other teams to offer him a lot of money. There’s no way that he played awful in practice all season long and just suddenly became so good when finally given the minutes.

If you ever have a chance to taste georgian food, go for it. Khachapuri is soooo good. It’s like if a pizza and a french toast had a baby.
