Undeserving Lakers Escape From Memphis With a 123-120 Win Over Grizzlies.

They didn’t deserve it, but the Lakers got the win anyway.

Against a Memphis Grizzlies team that had 13 players on the injured list, eight players in uniform, and zero players who started the season playing meaningful minutes for an NBA team, the Lakers still needed all 48 minutes to come away with a 123-120 win. How much good it does them depends on what else happens around the conference, but at least the Lakers kept the dream of moving up alive.

Even if they shouldn’t have been allowed to.

This was, very likely, the most annoying win of the year. But it was a win, which beats the alternative. We’ll see if the time LeBron (41 minutes) and Anthony Davis (43 minutes) spent on the floor that they absolutely shouldn’t have needed to hurts on Sunday. But for now, at least, the Lakers got the thing that mattered most. Even if how they did it was kind of appalling.

    I thought the Lakers played well, especially in the 3rd. It's just a game, they "deserve" to play without being tight and serious. Next episode you guys will complain that their not having fun 😂

    An undeserving win maybe…. But there were quite a few undeserving losses… Undeserving injuries….yadiyada…. Come on guys, take a chill pill ….

    This commentary is goofy. “Undeserved” and “annoyed” are wild.

    This team is going to be the 10th seed. The most important thing is to get to the finish line intact and as healthy as possible.

    The players on the Grizzlies are professionals btw. Any team can lose to any team on a given night.

    Take the win and be thankful.

    remember what I said and I repeat it again. lakers will not get far because of the love the fans have for Reaves, the strategy of other teams is to attack Reaves or Dlo, because Reaves and D'lo are too much of a defensive liability to be the starting backcourt. the bench is trash. Spencer plays well when he is in the starting lineup. Reaves should come off the bench

    Its Ham comstantly shuffling the gaurds in and out with no rhyme or rhythm. Nobody can get in a flow it seems like. He takes people out for 1 or 2 minutes then shuffles them back in and out. Its crazy.

    I disagree with Brian that some of this is not, at least somewhat, on the coach. Ty Lue would get on the guys, spoelstra would get on the guys. Its clear Ham's words carry zero impact. Bron is notorious for playing down to the competition.
