Wemby officially set the single-season record for block-foul ratio (1.66)

The crazy part about this is that he was only at 1.39 blocks per foul on February 11. Wemby proceeded to finish the season with 111 blocks to just 50 fouls (2.22 blocks per foul) in his last 24 games.

After his debut vs. the Mavs, it seemed like he was hardly ever in foul trouble. He did a great job staying down on fakes and picking his spots in situations where preventing the basket was unlikely.

Also, s/o to 36 y/o Tim Duncan for his No. 3 ranking!

    That’s insane to do that as rookie we are so lucky to have him on the spurs

    It’s even more mindblowing when you consider that most of the player-seasons in the top 10 of that list are from defensive specialists like Mark Eaton. The only ones who scored over 10 ppg in the top 10 are him, Timmy, and AD.
