Only way we’re getting out of this post season with any respect is beating Orlando in 5 and taking Boston to 7/Beating Boston. Outside of that, there’s no shaking the narrative that we’re weak and get easily bullied. I’m cautiously optimistic, but we’ve made our bed sticking with JB. I just hope NY fucking blows it in round one, honestly. Knicks win one playoff series in a decade and their fans became the cockiest fucks in all of r/nba.

Teams tank every year for high draft picks and the Cavs lose 1 game to play an easier opponent and people lose their minds. I don’t understand why the Cavs are getting so much shit for this.

Didn’t we need the Knicks to lose anyway? What would the seeding have been if we won along with NY winning?

The way it worked out we’d have been better off winning the game. Getting Indiana in R1 and avoiding Boston until the ECF is a much better overall option imo. Orlando is probably a slightly better matchup for us in R1 but not sure how much.

  5. some of you care too much how twitter or r/nba view the cavs, who cares. people hate the city and the sports teams, they always have and always will no matter what . avoiding the 76ers was objectively the right call at the time. sure the knicks ending up winning so it didn’t matter in the end, but when the call was made it looked as if they were on their way to losing. same people crying about this would have been the same people crying when the 76ers bounced us in 4 or 5.

The truth is win or lose it doesn’t really matter. If they lose, this will be a forgotten blip by next week. If they win you’ll never hear about it again. This is grandstanding for twitter engagement. 0-0 from here.

I’m done caring about what other people say about Cleveland sports.

The Warriors sat starters and nobody gives a shit. The Cavs do the same thing and everyone is pissed. Regardless of playoff seeding, we’ve been on the the most injured teams in the NBA. There’s no reason to risk injuries for nothing.

    Get over it.

  8. People on this sub applauding this move is all I need to know about them. Nothing this team does is wrong. Absolutely insane
