Boston Celtics win 64 games; favorable playoff path? Mike Gorman honored
The Boston Celtics wrapped up the season with 64 wins, the fourth-most in team history. Payton Pritchard, Svi Mykhailiuk, Sam Hauser, and Neemias Queta all showed good stuff in the final win of the season, without Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and the regulars. We also now know the path through the playoffs for the Celtic and it looks like it might be a fun one. Plus, honoring the legend Mike Gorman on his special tribute day at the Garden.

I want Miami vs. Boston in round 1 and Philly vs. Milwaukee in round 2. This is the first time in forever where Boston wasn't standing in the way of Milwaukee and Philly meeting in the playoffs.
It made me sad when they showed that Boston has won 3 titles in 43 years. In a world where the Lakers have won 7 titles in that time, the Bulls won 6 the Warriors have won 4 and the Spurs won 5.
It feels wrong they only got Mike and Tommy 3.
They deserved at least 10

The whole season I prayed KP wouldn’t get hurt. I would sit there and watch how he lands, if he’s grimacing, almost died when he got a couple ankle sprains lol.

Thing is Miami is dirty man, when they feel like they’re going to lose they start with the antics. I watched Tatum get hurt game 7 and if you re watch it, Gabe could’ve moved his foot but conveniently leaves it on the floor and Tatum steps on his foot!
I suppose the same percentage of Chicken Littles have always existed. They just didn't have so many ways to make the rest of us have to hear them in the past. Just make sure we kick them out of the victory party.

I don't think it's bravado to expect this team to not need a Game 7 in the EC. If the Knicks were full strength or if the Bucks suddenly (finally) become who we thought they were, okay then. But that's not happening. God forbid we could get to the Finals and not be strung out already.

Celtics are so overrated and every Celtics fan is going to be so hurt when they don't win it. 64 wins is a result of playing in a trash conference. The West' s 7th seed has a better record than the East's 3rd seed. If the C's played in the West they would have been no better than a 3 seed, maybe a 4. Those are just facts
