Brunson finishes the season averaging 28.6 points (4th in the NBA), 3.6 rebounds, 6.7 assists (13th in the NBA) while shooting 48% FG, 40.2% 3PT, 84.5% FT. A historic season from one of the NBA’s elite-level talents

I think people are underestimating that his giant head holds so much information about the game and how to destroy his foes and his ears are so little that they can’t hear one decibel of what the haters are saying. Oh, and that footwork SICK too

It’s funny. In 2022, a friend of mine asked me about the Knicks. I told him that we got Jalen Brunson. He kind of laughed, and I told him, “Don’t sleep. That kid balled out in the playoffs for Dallas.” Fast forward to this season. I’ve rarely been more right. I had a blast watching him school the league and blow kisses to the crowd. Absolutely awesome!!

I remember thinking during his playoff run that if he could pull this off over a full year he’d be elite:
2023 playoffs 27.8 5.6 4.9 on 47.4%/32.5%/91.2%
2023-2024: 28.6 6.7 3.6 on 48%/40.2%/84.5%
Turns out he’s even better

We haven’t had a player who could create shots from all over the floor like him since Sprewell. And he’s better than Spree was.
Melo was fantastic off the iso and had one of the best jump shots in the NBA, but Brunson can pull ridiculous shots from out of nowhere like few I’ve ever seen in a Knicks uniform.
Fantastic player.

It would have been 29.1 ppg if he hadn’t gotten injured 40 seconds into that one game and exited the game with 0
