Lakers need to rest LeBron and AD for the Pelicans game and win against the Kings/Warriors to get the 8th spot to get OKC instead of Denver
Really pleased with the amount of decent teams and compelling series. There are a number of matchups I look forward to seeing
If Lakers come in at the 7th seed and Warriors come in at the 8th seed, There will not be a single playoff series that will be a sure thing. The west playoffs will be so fun to watch. Every single game.
Let's not forget, the Warriors & Kings wouldn't have made the playoffs if we stuck with the old rules.

In all seriousness, only the Western Conference deserves the Play-In Tournament. It's so stacked that from 7-10 is basically just 1-2 games difference.
Not giving the East a Play-In will push these mediocre franchise to step up their game and catch up with the West.

As an OKC fan, I rather see GS the SAC as an 8th seed. We have a better record and have the stamina to keep up with them. The Kings have our number during the regular season.
OKC thunder and GSW sounds like an exciting game to look towards to. It will be an awesome match up.

I have very little confidence in any team other then Denver in beating the Lakers or the Warriors if both make it to the Real Playoffs. So those claiming how strong the West is as compared to the East, really don't know what they are talking about. There are more Teams I would trust wining a series in the East as opposed to those wining series in the West. Especially if there were no conferences and teams just played based on Record, not East or West.
